วันที่ 2 พฤษภาคม 2567 นักเรียนห้องเตรียมความพร้อม และห้องเด็กเล็ก ของศูนย์การเรียนรู้อาเซียน ได้มีโอกาสออกไปเปิดประสบการณ์การ เรียนรู้นอกสถานที่ ณ เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเขาเขียวเขาชมภู่ เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ใช้ความรู้ที่เรียนมาตลอดระยะเวลา 4 เดือนเกี่ยวกับผีเสื้อ ในรายวิชา Project-Based Learning (PBL)
โดยวิทยากรได้ให้ความรู้ เกี่ยวกับผีเสื้อว่า เป็นสัตว์ปีกที่ชอบแสงอาทิตย์ และอากาศที่เย็นสบาย จึงมักเห็นมันบินวนเวียนตามดอกไม้ ต้นไม้ที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ การที่ผีเสื้อบินคละเคล้าเกสรดอกไม้ เพราะต้องการน้ำหวานจากดอกเกสรเป็นอาหาร และช่วยดอกไม้ในการผสมพันธุ์ไปในตัว
ผีเสื้อ ชื่อไม่ขึ้นต้นด้วยแมลง แต่จัดอยู่ในประเภทแมลง ซึ่งการทัศนศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้รับความรู้เกี่ยวกับส่วนประกอบของผีเสื้อ และสายพันธุ์ของผีเสื้อต่างๆ อีกทั้งสามารถจำแนกสัตว์ที่พบเห็นว่าจัดอยู่ในประเภทของแมลงหรือไม่

On Thursday May 2nd 2024, Students in The Nursery Class and The Beginner Class of ASEAN Education Center (AEC) went on field trip at The Khao Khiao–Khao Chomphu Wildlife Sanctuary. To study about a butterfly, which is the Problem-Based Learning (PBL)’s topic.
The lecturer is provided various acknowledgement about butterflies to children; Butterflies feed primarily on nectar from flowers. Butterflies are important as pollinators for some species of plants.
Butterflies are winged insects from the lepidopteron suborder Rhopalocera, characterized by large, often brightly colored wings that often fold together when at rest, and a conspicuous, fluttering flight. This outdoor learning trip, children also have learned about parts of a butterfly, types of butterflies and them able to classification animals.
