Pattaya City, Central Pattaya and Business Association Join Forces to Host “Pattaya Sand & Art Festival 2026,” Transforming the Beach into Spectacular Sand Sculptures
On August 27th 2026, at 7:30 p.m., Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Pattaya Sand & Art Festival 2026.” Mr. Khwanchai Boonaree, General Manager of Central Pattaya, delivered the opening report.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Chaiwat Tamthai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Pattaya Office; representatives of the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association, Chonburi; representatives of the Pattaya Regional Harbour Office; as well as Mr. Bancha Kullawanich, Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya City; Mr. Banjong Banturanprayuk, Vice Chairman of the Pattaya City Council; members of the Pattaya City Council; members of the Mayor’s working team; heads of government agencies; distinguished guests; and members of the media.
The event attracted a large number of Thai and international tourists, who came to admire the spectacular artworks at Pattaya Beach in front of Central Pattaya.
The Pattaya Sand & Art Festival 2026 is being held from August 27–31, 2026, at Pattaya Beach in front of Central Pattaya. This marks the first-ever Sand & Art Festival in Pattaya, organized through collaboration among Pattaya City, Central Pattaya, the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association, Chonburi, and other partner organizations.
Held under the concept “From One Grain, Endless Creativity,” the festival tells the story of grains of sand, a symbol of Pattaya’s beaches, transforming them into inspiration for contemporary art. The artworks creatively showcase the charm of Pattaya and the diverse cultural identities of Thailand’s four regions.
The festival offers a unique experience that goes beyond conventional sand sculpture exhibitions. Highlights include Pattaya Sand Art Installation, Live Sand Art Performance, workshops, and a range of creative activities for people and tourists of all ages. These activities aim to promote art education, create new tourism experiences, encourage creative tourism, and elevate Pattaya as an international destination for art and beachfront lifestyle.
Through contemporary Sand Art presentations that creatively combine sand with natural materials, design elements, and presentation technology, the festival seeks to showcase a new dimension of art and creativity while reinforcing Pattaya’s position as a vibrant international tourism destination.

27 ส.ค.69 เวลา 19.30 น.นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน “Pattaya Sand & Art Festival 2026” และนายขวัญชัย บุญอารีย์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล พัทยา เป็นผู้กล่าวรายงาน ร่วมด้วยนายชัยวัฒน์ ตามไท ผู้อำนวยการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานพัทยา ผู้แทนสมาคมนักธุรกิจและการท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา ชลบุรี ผู้แทนสำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาพัทยา พร้อมกันนี้มีนายบัญชา กุลละวณิชย์ เลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา นายบรรจง บัณฑูรประยุกต์ รองประธานสภาเมืองพัทยา พร้อมสมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา คณะทำงานนายกเมืองพัทยา หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ แขกผู้มีเกียรติ และสื่อมวลชน เข้าร่วม ท่ามกลางนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งคนไทยและชาวต่างชาติให้ความสนใจร่วมชมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก ณ บริเวณชายหาดพัทยา หน้าศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล พัทยา
สำหรับงาน Pattaya Sand & Art Festival 2026 กำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 27 – 31 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ บริเวณชายหาดพัทยา หน้าศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล พัทยา นับเป็นการจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกในพัทยา โดยความร่วมมือระหว่างเมืองพัทยา ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล พัทยา สมาคมนักธุรกิจและการท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา ชลบุรี รวมทั้งหน่วยงานภาคีพันธมิตร ภายใต้แนวคิด “From One Grain, Endless Creativity” ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของเม็ดทราย ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของชายหาดพัทยาให้กลายเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผล
งานศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่ร้อยเรียงเสน่ห์ของพัทยา และประเทศไทยทั้ง 4 ภาค มีเอกลักษณ์ แตกต่างจากการจัดแสดงประติมากรรมทรายทั่วไป
โดยภายในงานประกอบด้วยการจัดแสดง Pattaya Sand Art Installation การแสดง Live Sand Art Performance กิจกรรม Workshop และกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์สำหรับประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวทุกช่วงวัย เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านศิลปะและสร้างประสบการณ์การท่องเที่ยวรูปแบบใหม่ ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสร้างสรรค์ และยกระดับเมืองพัทยาให้เป็นจุดหมายปลายทางด้านศิลปะ และไลฟ์สไตล์ริมชายหาดระดับนานาชาติ ผ่านการนำเสนอผลงาน Sand Art ในรูปแบบร่วมสมัย ที่ผสมผสานทรายเข้ากับวัสดุธรรมชาติ งานออกแบบ และเทคโนโลยีการนำเสนออย่างสร้างสรรค์
