Pattaya City Unleashes the Power of Street Food! Launches Food Therapy Festival to Promote Thai Entrepreneurs on the Global Stage
August 8th, 2026 at Pattaya Beach, Mr. Kritsana Boonsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Thailand Food Therapy Festival Thai Street Gold Star Project,” aimed at elevating street food and wellness tourism entrepreneurs to international standards. The event was attended by Pattaya City executives and representatives from government agencies and the public sector.
The project is a collaboration between Pattaya City, Suan Dusit University, and the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP). Held from August 7–9, 2026, the project aims to enhance the capabilities of Thai street food entrepreneurs to meet international standards while promoting wellness tourism through the integration of food innovation, modern business management, and strategies for creating added economic value.
The festival featured a variety of activities, including food and product booths and workshops where expert chefs from Suan Dusit University demonstrated how to create innovative street food menus.
The project helps create career opportunities, increase income for local entrepreneurs, and attract both Thai and international tourists to experience the unique charm of Thai cuisine.
The initiative is also aligned with government policies to support SMEs and sustainably strengthen the grassroots economy, while promoting the image of Thai street food on the international stage.

8 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ ชายหาดพัทยานายกฤษณะ บุญสวะสดิ์ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการยกระดับผู้ประกอบการสตรีทฟู้ดและท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพสู่มาตรฐานสากล (Thailand Food Therapy Festival Thai Street Gold Star Project) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยา ผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคประชาชน
โดยความร่วมมือระหว่างเมืองพัทยา มหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิต และสำนักงานส่งเสริมวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (สสว.) จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 7–9 สิงหาคม 2569 เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการสตรีทฟู้ดไทยให้ได้มาตรฐานสากล ควบคู่กับการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ (Wellness) ผ่านการบูรณาการองค์ความรู้ด้านนวัตกรรมอาหาร การบริหารจัดการธุรกิจสมัยใหม่ และการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มทางเศรษฐกิจ
ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมหลากหลาย อาทิ การออกร้านจำหน่ายสินค้า การจัด Workshop รังสรรค์เมนูสตรีทฟู้ดโดยเชฟผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากมหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิต
นับว่าเป็นกานช่วยสร้างโอกาสทางอาชีพ เพิ่มรายได้ และดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติให้เข้ามาสัมผัสเสน่ห์อาหารไทยมากยิ่งขึ้น
ทั้งนี้ โครงการดังกล่าวสอดคล้องกับนโยบายภาครัฐในการส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการ SME และยกระดับเศรษฐกิจฐานรากอย่างยั่งยืน พร้อมผลักดันภาพลักษณ์สตรีทฟู้ดไทยสู่เวทีระดับนานาชาติ
