Pattaya City Hosts the Opening Ceremony of the Asia Cross Country Rally 2026
On August 9th,2026, Mr. Krisana Boonsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony of the Asia Cross Country Rally 2026 (AXCR 2026). The event was attended by members of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization Council, Pattaya City Council members, the organizing committee, athletes, distinguished guests, and members of the public. The ceremony took place at Walking Street, Pattaya City, Chonburi Province, amid a lively atmosphere.
The competition is organized by Orthef (Thailand) Limited Partnership in collaboration with R1 Japan, an international organizer of motorcycle and automobile cross-country rally events. The organizers have continuously hosted the competition for more than 23 years. The event aims to promote and develop Thailand’s motorsport industry on the international stage, provide Thai athletes with opportunities to exchange experiences and enhance their skills alongside international competitors, as well as promote tourism and stimulate the local economy along the competition routes.
The Asia Cross Country Rally 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 9–15, 2026. Pattaya City, Chonburi Province, serves as the official starting point before competitors embark on challenging rally routes across various parts of Thailand, with the race finishing in Phitsanulok Province.
Hosting the opening ceremony highlights Pattaya City’s potential to accommodate international sporting events and reinforces its role as a destination for tourism, sports, and world-class events. The event is expected to enhance Pattaya’s positive image, encourage tourist arrivals, and generate continuous economic activity and income for the local community.
เมืองพัทยาเปิดการแข่งขัน “Asia Cross Country Rally 2026”
เมื่อวันที่ 9 สิงหาคม 2569 นายกฤษณะ บุญสวัสดิ์ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันครอสคันทรีแรลลี่นานาชาติ Asia Cross Country Rally 2026 (AXCR 2026) โดยมีสมาชิกสภาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดชลบุรี สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยาคณะผู้จัดการแข่งขัน นักกีฬา แขกผู้มีเกียรติ และประชาชนร่วมพิธีอย่างคึกคัก ณ ถนนวอล์กกิ้ง สตรีท เมืองพัทยา จังหวัดชลบุรี
การแข่งขันครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นโดย ห้างหุ้นส่วนจำกัด ออร์เทฟ (ประเทศไทย) ร่วมกับ R1 Japan ซึ่งเป็นผู้จัดการแข่งขันรถจักรยานยนต์และรถยนต์ประเภทครอสคันทรีแรลลี่ระดับนานาชาติ และดำเนินการจัดการแข่งขันมาอย่างต่อเนื่องกว่า 23 ปี โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนากีฬามอเตอร์สปอร์ตของประเทศไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักในระดับสากล เปิดโอกาสให้นักกีฬาไทยได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และพัฒนาทักษะร่วมกับนักแข่งจากนานาประเทศ ตลอดจนส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวและกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่ที่การแข่งขันผ่าน
สำหรับการแข่งขัน Asia Cross Country Rally 2026 กำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 9–15 สิงหาคม 2569 โดยใช้เมืองพัทยา จังหวัดชลบุรี เป็นจุดปล่อยตัวอย่างเป็นทางการ ก่อนมุ่งหน้าสู่เส้นทางการแข่งขันในหลายพื้นที่ของประเทศไทย และสิ้นสุดการแข่งขันที่จังหวัดพิษณุโลก
การเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนถึงศักยภาพของเมืองพัทยาในการรองรับกิจกรรมกีฬาระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมตอกย้ำบทบาทของเมืองในฐานะจุดหมายปลายทางด้านการท่องเที่ยว กีฬา และการจัดอีเวนต์ระดับโลก ซึ่งจะช่วยสร้างภาพลักษณ์ที่ดี กระตุ้นการเดินทางของนักท่องเที่ยว และสร้างรายได้หมุนเวียนสู่เศรษฐกิจท้องถิ่นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
