Pattaya City executives join in preserving the “Wan Lai Naklua” tradition, adding vibrant color to the Songkran festival
April 18th, 2026, Mr. Anusak Piriyamorn, Bang Lamung District Chief, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Wan Lai Naklua” festival at Lan Pho Public Park in Naklua. He was joined by Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, along with Pattaya city executives, heads of government agencies, representatives from various sectors, related officials, as well as large numbers of local residents and tourists.
The event was organized to preserve Thailand’s cherished traditions during the Songkran festival, in an atmosphere filled with joy and warmth among locals and visitors. Activities included cultural parades, Songkran water play, and the traditional water-pouring ceremony to pay respect and seek blessings from the elderly, as well as folk cultural performances that left a strong impression on attendees.
This event aims to promote tourism while preserving local traditions for future generations. It also helps stimulate the economy in the Naklua area and Pattaya City during the Songkran festival.
City officials also took the opportunity to closely engage with residents and tourists, emphasizing safe, respectful water play and adherence to social norms, ensuring that the Songkran festival remains enjoyable and memorable for everyone.

18 เมษายน 2569 นายอนุศักดิ์ พิริยอมร นายอำเภอบางละมุง เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานประเพณี “วันไหลนาเกลือ” ณ สวนสาธารณะลานโพธิ์ นาเกลือ โดยมี นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยา หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานทุกภาคส่วน และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตลอดจนประชาชนในพื้นที่และนักท่องเที่ยวเข้าร่วมงานอย่างคับคั่ง
เพื่อร่วมสืบสานวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่เต็มไปด้วยความสนุกสนานและความอบอุ่นของประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยว ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมหลากหลาย อาทิ ขบวนแห่วัฒนธรรม การเล่นน้ำสงกรานต์ การรดน้ำดำหัวผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อแสดงความเคารพและขอพรตามประเพณีไทย ตลอดจนการแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมพื้นบ้านที่สร้างความประทับใจให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน
การจัดงานในครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว ควบคู่กับการอนุรักษ์ประเพณีท้องถิ่นให้คงอยู่สืบไป อีกทั้งยังช่วยกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่นาเกลือและเมืองพัทยาให้คึกคักในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์
ทั้งนี้ ผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยาได้ร่วมพบปะประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวอย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมเน้นย้ำการเล่นน้ำอย่างปลอดภัย สุภาพ และเคารพกติกาสังคม เพื่อให้เทศกาลสงกรานต์เป็นไปด้วยความสุขและความประทับใจของทุกคน
