Kao Karat Village and Pattaya Police Hold Merit-Making Ceremony for Songkran
Residents of Kao Karat Village, together with Pattaya City Police Station, organized a community merit-making ceremony to welcome the Songkran Festival and bring good fortune to the community
On April 8, 2026, at Kao Karat Village, Arunothai Soi, Central Pattaya, Mrs. Janta Amik, Vice President of Chumsai Community, in collaboration with Pattaya City Police Station led by Pol. Lt. Col. Praw Aonsom, Inspector of Community Relations, and Pol. Lt. Thong-in Panyanam, Deputy Inspector, along with the community relations police team, organized a community merit-making ceremony in celebration of the Songkran Festival, or Thai New Year, to bring good fortune to the community.
The event was attended by Mr. Banjong Bandurprayuk and Mr. Jirawat Plukjai, Pattaya City Council members; Mrs. Rassamee Suksuaperm, President of Chumsai Community; Mrs. Kanthana Pornchai, President of Soi Kor Phai Community; as well as local residents and honored guests. Monks from Nong Or Monastic Residence were invited to perform Buddhist chanting, offer blessings, receive alms, and sprinkle holy water for auspiciousness among attendees.
This activity not only preserved Thailand’s cherished cultural traditions but also strengthened unity and fostered positive relationships between police officers and the local community. It reflected strong cooperation in maintaining peace and order while warmly and safely welcoming the Songkran Festival.

เมื่อวันที่ 8 เมษายน 2569 ที่หมู่บ้านเก้ากะรัต ซอยอรุโณทัย พัทยากลาง นางจันทา แอมิก รองประธานชุมชนชุมสาย ร่วมกับสถานีตำรวจภูธรเมืองพัทยา นำโดย พ.ต.ต.พราว อ่อนโสม สวป.ชส. สภ.เมืองพัทยา และ ร.ต.ท.ทองอินทร์ ปัญญานาม รอง สวป. สภ.เมืองพัทยา พร้อมชุดตำรวจมวลชนสัมพันธ์ จัดกิจกรรมทำบุญกลางบ้านเนื่องในเทศกาลสงกรานต์หรือวันขึ้นปีใหม่ไทย เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ชุมชน
ภายในงานมีนายบรรจง บัณฑูรประยุกต์ และนายจิรวัฒน์ ปลุกใจ สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา นางรัศมี สุขสุเพิ่ม ประธานชุมชนชุมสาย นางกัญฐณา พรชัย ประธานชุมชนซอยกอไผ่ รวมถึงประชาชนและแขกผู้มีเกียรติเข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง โดยได้นิมนต์พระสงฆ์จากสำนักสงฆ์หนองอ้อ มาประกอบพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ ฉันภัตตาหารเพล และประพรมน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะเป็นการสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามของไทยแล้ว ยังช่วยสร้างความสามัคคีและความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจและประชาชนในพื้นที่ สะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือในการดูแลความสงบเรียบร้อยของชุมชน พร้อมต้อนรับเทศกาลสงกรานต์อย่างอบอุ่นและปลอดภัย
