Press Association of Pattaya organized activities in celebration of National Journalists’ Day 2026
On March 5th 2026, Press Association ofPattaya organized activities to mark National Journalists’ Day 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM. The association’s committee members and journalists jointly delivered consumer goods and essential supplies to the Krathom Phra Siri Foundation in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province.
The activity aimed to contribute to public service and social assistance, reflecting the role of the media not only in reporting news but also in supporting community initiatives and social activities within the local area.
Later at 7:00 PM, a reception and gathering was held to commemorate National Journalists’ Day. The event provided an opportunity for local media members in Pattaya to meet, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships. Many executives from government and local agencies attended the event, including Anusak Piriyamorn, Bang Lamung District Chief; Nattawut Anuyotha, Sattahip District Chief; Poramase Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City; along with local administrators, police station superintendents, and representatives from various organizations who honored the occasion with their presence.
On this occasion, Amphon Saengkaew, President of the Press Association ofPattaya, delivered a welcoming speech to the distinguished guests and spoke about the significance of National Journalists’ Day, which is observed annually on March 5. The date commemorates the founding of the Journalists Association of Thailand, now known as the Thai Journalists Association. He also encouraged journalists to remain committed to presenting accurate information that benefits society. The event also featured a lucky draw with prizes sponsored by government agencies and private organizations, creating a joyful atmosphere and expressing appreciation to media professionals who have worked closely with various organizations throughout the past year.
สมาคมนักข่าวพัทยาจัดงานวันนักข่าว 5 มีนาคม มอบสิ่งของช่วยมูลนิธิ–กระชับความร่วมมือสื่อกับหน่วยงาน
สมาคมนักข่าวพัทยาจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องใน “วันนักข่าวแห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2569” โดยเริ่มตั้งแต่เวลา 16.00 น. คณะกรรมการและสมาชิกสมาคมนักข่าวพัทยาได้ร่วมกันนำสิ่งของอุปโภคบริโภคไปมอบให้แก่ มูลนิธิกระท่อมพระสิริ ตำบลหนองปรือ อำเภอบางละมุง จังหวัดชลบุรี เพื่อร่วมทำกิจกรรมสาธารณประโยชน์และช่วยเหลือสังคม สะท้อนบทบาทของสื่อมวลชนที่ไม่เพียงทำหน้าที่นำเสนอข่าวสาร แต่ยังมีส่วนร่วมในการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมและชุมชนในพื้นที่
ต่อมาในเวลา 19.00 น. ได้มีการจัดงานเลี้ยงสังสรรค์เนื่องในวันนักข่าว เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้สื่อมวลชนในพื้นที่เมืองพัทยาได้พบปะแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น และกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างกัน โดยมีผู้บริหารหน่วยงานภาครัฐและท้องถิ่นเข้าร่วมอย่างคับคั่ง อาทิ นายอนุศักดิ์ พิริยอมร นายอำเภอบางละมุง, นายณัฐวุฒิ อนุโยธา นายอำเภอสัตหีบ, นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารท้องถิ่น ผู้กำกับการสถานีตำรวจในพื้นที่ และผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ที่ให้เกียรติเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้
ทั้งนี้ นายอัมพร แสงแก้ว นายกสมาคมนักข่าวพัทยา กล่าวต้อนรับแขกผู้มีเกียรติและกล่าวถึงความสำคัญของวันนักข่าวแห่งชาติ ซึ่งตรงกับวันที่ 5 มีนาคมของทุกปี อันเป็นวันสถาปนา “สมาคมนักข่าวแห่งประเทศไทย” หรือ “สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย” ในปัจจุบัน พร้อมฝากถึงสื่อมวลชนให้ยึดมั่นในการนำเสนอข่าวสารที่ถูกต้องและเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคม โดยภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรมจับรางวัลของขวัญจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน เพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศแห่งความสุขและขอบคุณสื่อมวลชนที่ทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ตลอดปีที่ผ่านมา
