Pattaya Hosts Its First Grand Eastern Muslim Cultural Festival (16–18 January 2026)
On 16th January 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at Pattaya Central Beach, Mr. Poramase Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the official opening ceremony of the “Eastern Muslim Cultural Festival.” The ceremony was honored by Mr. Chaiyaphon Sukiem, Director-General of the Department of Religious Affairs and representative of the Minister of Culture, who served as the chairman of the event. Also in attendance were provincial executives, religious leaders, representatives from government and private sectors, members of the media, and a large number of tourists.
This event was jointly organized by Pattaya City, the Chonburi Provincial Islamic Committee, and Muslim cultural networks, with the objectives of promoting, preserving, and showcasing the rich and valuable cultural heritage of the Muslim community, as well as stimulating local tourism. Activities within the event included religious ceremonies, Qasidah performances, exhibitions on the history of Muslims in Pattaya, panel discussions on multiculturalism among five religions, and displays of Islamic cultural wisdom in various dimensions.
Throughout the event, visitors could enjoy exhibitions on Eastern Muslim culture, traditional cultural performances, costume competitions, and more than 200 community and halal food stalls, all set against the beautiful evening seaside atmosphere. The festival was open to the public and tourists free of charge from 4:00 p.m. onwards, reflecting Pattaya’s image as a warm, open, and multicultural tourist city.

เมื่อวันที่ 16 ม.ค. 69 เวลา 19.30 น.ณ ชายหาดพัทยากลางนายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา ร่วมเปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการ มีนายชัยพล สุขเอี่ยม อธิบดีกรมการศาสนา ผู้แทนรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารระดับจังหวัด ผู้นำศาสนา หน่วยงานภาครัฐ เอกชน สื่อมวลชน และนักท่องเที่ยวเข้าร่วมจำนวนมาก
เมืองพัทยา ร่วมกับคณะกรรมการอิสลามประจำจังหวัดชลบุรี และเครือข่ายวัฒนธรรมชาวมุสลิม จัดงานครั้งนี้ขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริม อนุรักษ์ และเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของชาวมุสลิม รวมถึงกระตุ้นการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่ ภายในงานมีพิธีการตามหลักศาสนา การแสดงกอซีเดาะห์ นิทรรศการประวัติมุสลิมพัทยา การเสวนาพหุวัฒนธรรม 5 ศาสนา ตลอดจนการจัดแสดงภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมอิสลามในหลากหลายมิติ
สำหรับกิจกรรมตลอดงาน พบกับนิทรรศการวัฒนธรรมมุสลิมถิ่นตะวันออก การแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรม การประกวดการแต่งกาย ร้านค้าชุมชนและอาหารฮาลาลกว่า 200 ร้าน ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศริมชายหาดยามเย็นอันสวยงาม เปิดให้ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวเข้าชมฟรี ตั้งแต่เวลา 16.00 น. เป็นต้นไป สะท้อนภาพลักษณ์เมืองพัทยาในฐานะเมืองท่องเที่ยวพหุวัฒนธรรมที่เปิดกว้างและอบอุ่น
