Pattaya City’s National Children’s Day Celebration with Mascot Circus Brings Joy to Children

On January 10th 2026 at 9:00 a.m., Mr. Poramase Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony of the Pattaya City National Children’s Day Celebration for the year 2026. He also read the National Children’s Day message under the slogan, “Love the Thai Nation, Care for the World,” given by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand. Attending the event were Pattaya City executives, members of the Pattaya City Council, heads of government departments, as well as executives and representatives from public and private organizations that supported the event with gifts and prizes. The event was held amid an overwhelming turnout of children and parents who enthusiastically joined the activities.
As the government has designated the second Saturday of January each year as National Children’s Day, all sectors of society are encouraged to take part in the development of children and youth. Children are considered a highly valuable resource and must be developed to their fullest potential so they can grow into quality and responsible citizens in the future. Recognizing the importance of children and youth, Pattaya City therefore organized the National Children’s Day Celebration for the year 2026.
The objectives of the event were to promote joy and enjoyment for children and youth, encourage creative self-expression, and raise awareness of rights and duties, discipline, and responsibility toward themselves and society. It also aimed to support the full development of children and youth in terms of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual aspects; to promote good health and well-being; and to keep them away from drugs and harmful substances. Furthermore, the event sought to encourage all sectors of society to participate in the development of children and youth, to inspire and motivate children to conduct themselves as good members of society and of the nation going forward.
เมืองพัทยางานวันเด็กแห่งชาติพร้อม Mascot Circus สร้างความสุขให้เด็กๆ
10 ม.ค.69 เวลา 09.00 น. นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานเปิดงานวันเด็กแห่งชาติเมืองพัทยา ประจำปี 2569 พร้อมอ่านสารวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ตามคำขวัญที่ว่า “รักชาติไทย ใส่ใจโลก” ของนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรี โดยมีคณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยา สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ พร้อมผู้บริหารและผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ-เอกชนที่ร่วมสนับสนุนของขวัญของรางวัล เข้าร่วม ท่ามกลางน้องๆ หนูๆ และผู้ปกครอง ที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างล้นหลาม
ด้วยวันเสาร์ที่ 2 ของเดือนมกราคมของทุกปี รัฐบาลกำหนดให้เป็นวันเด็กแห่งชาติ เพื่อให้ทุกส่วนของสังคมได้มีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาเด็กและเยาวชน เนื่องจากเด็กเป็นทรัพยากรที่มีคุณค่ายิ่ง ซึ่งต้องได้รับการพัฒนาเต็มศักยภาพ เพื่อจะได้เติบโตเป็นพลเมืองที่ดี มีคุณภาพสืบไป ในการนี้เมืองพัทยาได้ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของเด็กและเยาวชน จึงได้จัดงานวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2569 ขึ้น โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมให้เด็กและเยาวชนได้รับความสนุกสนานรื่นเริง กล้าแสดงออกในทางสร้างสรรค์ ตระหนักในสิทธิหน้าที่ มีระเบียบวินัย มีความรับผิดชอบต่อตนเองและสังคม ตลอดจนเป็นการส่งเสริมให้เด็กและเยาวชนมีพัฒนาการเต็มศักยภาพทั้งร่างกาย อารมณ์ สังคม สติปัญญา มีสุขภาพพลานามัยที่สมบูรณ์และห่างไกลจากสิ่งเสพติด รวมทั้งเพื่อให้ทุกภาคส่วนของสังคมมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาเด็กและเยาวชน ส่งเสริมให้เด็กมีกำลังใจในการปฏิบัติตนเป็นคนดีของสังคมและประเทศชาติต่อไป
