Pattaya Launches Jet Ski and Local Speedboat Competition 2026, Driving the City Toward a Sports and Sports Tourism Hub
On Saturday January 10th 2026 at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya City the opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kritsana Boonsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya. The event was attended by city executives, Pattaya City Council members, relevant agencies, athletes, members of the media, and distinguished guests, creating a lively atmosphere. The objective was to promote Pattaya as a city of sports and sports tourism.
Recognizing the potential of its location and marine resources, Pattaya City places great importance on the development and promotion of various water sports. The initiative aims to provide opportunities for youth and the general public to develop skills, gain competitive experience, promote good health, and make constructive use of their free time. In collaboration with the Pattaya Jet Ski Club, the competition was held from January 8–11, 2026, as part of an annual event.
This year’s competition features a total of 12 categories, consisting of 4 speedboat categories and 9 jet ski categories, covering general, senior, and youth divisions. Winners will receive honorary trophies from Pattaya City along with total prize money exceeding 300,000 baht. The event is supported by numerous public and private sector organizations and represents another important step in enhancing Pattaya’s image as a sports city, promoting sports tourism, and sustainably stimulating the local economy.
พัทยาเปิดศึก เจ็ตสกี–เรือเร็วท้องถิ่น 2569 ดันเมืองกีฬา–ท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา
วันเสาร์ที่ 10 มกราคม 2569 ณ บริเวณหาดจอมเทียน โดยมีนายกฤษณะ บุญสวัสดิ์ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง นักกีฬา สื่อมวลชน และแขกผู้มีเกียรติร่วมงานอย่างคึกคัก มุ่งผลักดันพัทยาสู่เมืองกีฬาและการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา
เมืองพัทยาเล็งเห็นศักยภาพของพื้นที่และทรัพยากรทางทะเล จึงให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาและส่งเสริมกีฬาทางน้ำหลากหลายประเภท เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้เยาวชนและประชาชนได้พัฒนาทักษะ เสริมสร้างประสบการณ์การแข่งขัน ส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ โดยร่วมกับสโมสรเจ็ตสกีเมืองพัทยา จัดการแข่งขันระหว่างวันที่ 8–11 มกราคม 2569 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี
การแข่งขันปีนี้มีทั้งหมด 12 ประเภท แบ่งเป็นเรือเร็ว 4 ประเภท และเจ็ตสกี 9 ประเภท ครอบคลุมทั้งรุ่นทั่วไป รุ่นอาวุโส และรุ่นเยาวชน ผู้ชนะจะได้รับโล่เกียรติยศจากเมืองพัทยา พร้อมเงินรางวัลรวมกว่า 300,000 บาท โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนหลายหน่วยงาน ถือเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ด้านกีฬา การท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา และกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของเมืองพัทยาอย่างยั่งยืน
