Rotary Club of Pattaya Center International Continues Adding Green Space to Pattaya
Rotary Pattaya Center Joins Pattaya City in Reforestation on Pattaya Hill, Supporting the “Pattaya Go Green” Initiative in Honor of Father’s Day Month
At 9:30 a.m. on December 10th 2025 near the Pattaya City Sign at the highest point of Pattaya Hill (Sathorn 5), Rotary Club of Pattaya Center International, in collaboration with Pattaya City continues its fourth reforestation project on Pattaya Hill, promoting the ‘Pattaya Go Green’ initiative in honor of Father’s Day month.
The opening ceremony was presided over Rotary Club of Pattaya Center International (RCPCI) by Charter President Jana Suwannasri together with Mr. Prasert Jindadee, Head of the Pattaya City Natural Resources and Environment Division. Members of the Rotary Club, Pattaya City officials and volunteers also joined the activity.
The tree species planted this year included flame trees and forest mango trees, totaling more than 100 saplings. The initiative focuses on three main goals: creating green spaces to enhance the beauty and shade of Pattaya Hill; providing long-term benefits to the community by enabling families to harvest edible fruits from planted trees; and increasing the number of large trees to help filter PM 2.5 dust, purify the air and reduce pollution in Pattaya City.
This project is part of the long-term plan of the Rotary Club of Pattaya Center International, emphasizing sustainability and community involvement in environmental conservation. Its goal is to strengthen collaboration between Rotary organizations and socially beneficial agencies, uniting volunteer efforts to protect the planet and expand green areas for the collective good in the future.

เมื่อเวลา 09.30 น. วันที่ 10 ธ.ค. 2568 ที่ บริเวณใกล้เคียงป้ายพัทยาซิตี้ บนเขาสทร.5 ซึ่งเป็นจุดที่สูงที่สุดของเมืองพัทยา สโมสรโรตารี่พัทยาเซ็นเตอร์อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ร่วมกับเมืองพัทยา สถานีตำรวจภูธรเมืองพัทยา และภาคีเครือข่าย จัดกิจกรรม “ปลูกต้นไม้ ป่ารักษ์โลก เพื่อฟื้นฟูพื้นที่สีเขียว และส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมต่อเนื่องครั้งที่ 4 ทำดีเนื่องในเดือนวันพ่อแห่งชาติขับเคลื่อนนโยบาย “Pattaya Go Green” มุ่งสู่การเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวที่มีคาร์บอนต่ำ
โดยมีคุณจาน่า สุวรรณศรี นายกก่อตั้งและนายกสโมสรโรตารี่พัทยาเซ็นเตอร์อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล นายประเสริฐ จินดาดี หัวหน้าฝ่ายทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมเมือง ร่วมเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วย สมาชิกสโมสรโรตารี่ เจ้าหน้าที่เมืองพัทยา และผู้มีจิตอาสา เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
สำหรับพันธุ์ไม้ที่นำมาปลูกในครั้งนี้ ประกอบด้วย ต้นหางนกยูง และต้นมะม่วงป่า รวมกว่า 100 ต้น โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายหลัก 3 ประการ ได้แก่สร้างพื้นที่สีเขียวเพื่อความสวยงามและความร่มรื่นให้กับเขาพัทยา ส่งเสริมประโยชน์ในระยะยาวแก่ประชาชน โดยสามารถเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตจากไม้ผลและพืชยืนต้นไว้บริโภคภายในครอบครัว เพิ่มปริมาณต้นไม้ใหญ่เพื่อช่วยกรองฝุ่น PM 2.5 ฟอกอากาศ และลดมลภาวะให้กับพื้นที่เมืองพัทยา
โครงการนี้เป็นหนึ่งในแผนงานระยะยาวของสโมสรโรตารี่พัทยาเซ็นเตอร์อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ที่มุ่งเน้นความยั่งยืนและการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างองค์กรโรตารี่กับหน่วยงานที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคม รวมพลังจิตอาสาในการร่วมกันรักษ์โลกและสร้างพื้นที่สีเขียวเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวมในอนาคต
