Pattaya City and Chumsai Community Organize “Charity Petanque Tournament for the Mother of the Land Fund” to Foster Unity and Community Well-being
October 11th, 2025, The Chumsai Community in collaboration with Pattaya City hosted the annual “Charity Petanque Tournament for the Mother of the Land Fund 2025” at the Kao Rai Sai Sam Petanque Field, located in Soi Chalerm Phrakiat 12, Central Pattaya. The tournament featured a special competition for the Chumsai Community Cup, with honorary trophies presented by a former Minister of Culture and the Mayor of Pattaya.
Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony, joined by Mr. Sakon Phonluk-in, Deputy Chief Executive of Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, along with Mr. Nakorn Phonluk-in (PAO member), Mr. Wisal Petchtrakool (Deputy Chairman of Pattaya City Council), and Pattaya City Council Members Mr. Banjong Bantoonprayuk, Mr. Surin Yimyai, and Mr. Jirawat Plukjai. Also in attendance were Pol. Lt. Col. Prow Aonsom, Deputy Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, and Pol. Lt. Thongin Panyanam, along with officers from the “Sustainable Subdistrict” unit.
Mrs. Rasamee Suksuphem, Chairperson of the Chumsai Community, delivered the opening remarks and outlined the purpose of the event, which was held in a lively and warm atmosphere. Local leaders, community representatives from across Pattaya, athletes, and members of the public joined in enthusiastically.
The primary goal of the tournament was to raise funds for the Mother of the Land Fund, with proceeds (after expenses) used to purchase an LED television for the community building. The television will serve as a shared resource for public and community events.
The tournament was held in the open team and doubles categories, attracting participants from various neighborhoods across Pattaya. The registration fee was only 300 baht per team.
Awards and Prizes: Champion: Trophy donated by Mr. Sonthaya Khunpluem and a cash prize of 5,000 baht, 1st Runner-up: Trophy from the Mayor of Pattaya City and 3,000 baht, 2nd Runner-up: Trophy from the Deputy Mayor and Chairman of Pattaya City Council and 2,000 baht per team
This charity event was more than just a sports competition. It served as a meaningful platform to strengthen community ties, promote unity, and encourage sustainable community development through collective effort and shared purpose.

โดยมีนายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดพร้อมด้วย นายสกน ผลลูกอินทร์ รองนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดชลบุรี พร้อมด้วย สจ.นคร ผลลูกอินทร์, นายวิศัลย์ เพ็ชรตระกูล รองประธานสภาเมืองพัทยา พร้อมด้วยนายบรรจง บัณฑูรประยุกต์ นายสุรินทร์ ยิ้มใย, นายจิรวัฒน์ ปลุกใจ สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา พ.ต.ต.พราว อ่อนโสม สวป.(ชส.) สภ.เมืองพัทยา ร.ต.อ.ทองอินทร์ ปัญญานาม รองสารวัตรป้องกันปราบปรามสภ. เมืองพัทยา พร้อม เจ้าหน้าที่ชุดตำบลยั่งยืน โดยมี นางรัศมี สุขสุเพื่ม ประธานชุมชนชุมสาย กล่าววัตถุประสงค์การจัดงาน ท่ามกลางคณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยา สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา ตัวแทนสมาคมฯ ตัวแทนชุมชนต่างๆในเมืองพัทยา นักกีฬา และประชาชนในพื้นที่เข้าร่วมอย่างคึกคัก
การแข่งขันครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อระดมทุนสมทบ กองทุนแม่ของแผ่นดิน และนำรายได้หลังหักค่าใช้จ่ายไปจัดซื้อทีวี LED ติดตั้งภายในอาคารชุมชน เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ร่วมกันในกิจกรรมสาธารณะของชุมชน
บรรยากาศการแข่งขันเป็นไปอย่างสนุกสนานและเป็นกันเอง มีทีมเข้าร่วมจากหลายพื้นที่ทั่วเมืองพัทยา แข่งขันในประเภททีมทั่วไป-ทีมคู่ ค่าสมัครเพียงทีมละ 300 บาท โดยรางวัลชนะเลิศได้รับ ถ้วยเกียรติยศจากนายสนธยา คุณปลื้ม พร้อมเงินรางวัล 5,000 บาท, รองชนะเลิศอันดับ 1 ได้ถ้วยเกียรติยศจาก นายกเมืองพัทยา พร้อมเงินรางวัล 3,000 บาท และ รองชนะเลิศอันดับ 2 ได้ถ้วยเกียรติยศจาก รองนายกเมืองพัทยาและประธานสภาเมืองพัทยา พร้อมเงินรางวัลทีมละ 2,000 บาท
กิจกรรม “เปตองการกุศลกองทุนแม่ของแผ่นดิน” ครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงสร้างความสามัคคีและความสัมพันธ์อันดีในชุมชน แต่ยังสะท้อนพลังร่วมใจของคนพัทยาในการพัฒนาชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืนอีกด้วย
