Highgate Partners with Rotary District 3340 to Host “Safeguarding” Workshop to Raise Child and Vulnerable Group Protection Standards in Pattaya
On October 2nd, 2025 at the Visitor Center, Siam Country Club, Chonburi Province, Highgate International School Thailand led by Mr. Ben Keeling, School Director in collaboration with Rotary District 3340 and Rotary Club Global Pattaya President Rosemarie Gamito together with club member organized the “Safeguarding” workshop. The event was attended by representatives from the Rotary E-Club Dolphin Pattaya International media and various partner organizations.
The training aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in preventing and responding to abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable groups, particularly children and at-risk adults. It also emphasized understanding the concept of “duty of care” under the law, and the procedures for reporting concerns, to ensure thorough and effective protection.
The workshop further highlighted the importance of creating a safe environment, respecting human rights, and promoting the well-being of students and those under care. This initiative serves as a model of collaboration between the education sector and charitable organizations to elevate the standards of Child Protection and Safeguarding in Pattaya to international levels.

เมื่อวันที่ 2 ตุลาคม 2568 ที่ Visitor Center, Siam Country Club จ.ชลบุรี โรงเรียน Highgate International School Thailand นำโดย นายเบน คีลลิ่ง ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน ร่วมกับโรตารีภาค 3340 และ นางโรสแมรี่ กามิโต๊ะ นายกสโมสร Rotary Club Global Pattaya จัดเวิร์กชอป “Safeguarding” โดยมีตัวแทนสโมสรโรตารีอี-คลับ ดอลฟิน พัทยา สื่อมวลชนต่างชาติ และภาคีเครือข่ายร่วมงาน
การอบรมมุ่งเสริมความรู้และทักษะในการ ป้องกันและรับมือกับการล่วงละเมิด การละเลย และการเอารัดเอาเปรียบ ในกลุ่มเปราะบาง โดยเฉพาะเด็กและผู้ใหญ่ที่มีความเสี่ยง พร้อมให้ความเข้าใจเรื่อง “duty of care” หรือหน้าที่ในการดูแลตามกฎหมาย และขั้นตอนการรายงานเมื่อพบความกังวล เพื่อให้การคุ้มครองเป็นไปอย่างรัดกุม
นอกจากนี้ยังตอกย้ำการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่ปลอดภัย เคารพสิทธิมนุษยชน และส่งเสริมสุขภาวะของผู้เรียนและผู้ที่อยู่ในความดูแล ถือเป็นต้นแบบความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคการศึกษาและองค์กรการกุศล ที่ช่วยยกระดับมาตรฐาน Child Protection และ Safeguarding ของพัทยาให้ก้าวสู่สากล
