Press Conference on the “Travel Chonburi: Creative Cultural Street Festival” Held at Central Pattaya Beach (Sept 24–28, 2025)
On September 15th 2025 at 6:30 PM, Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City assigned Mr. Siwat Boonkert, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, to attend the press conference for the upcoming “Travel Chonburi: Creative Cultural Street Festival” held at the Sunken Plaza, Central Pattaya Shopping Center. The event was presided over by Mr. Phongsathit Pichanan, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province, and joined by: Ms. Kanueng Khailueanam, Chonburi Provincial Cultural Officer Ms. Rampueng Supasri, Chairperson of the Takhian Tia Ban Nong Phlap Moral Community Also in attendance were government officials, private sector representatives, cultural networks, media and tourists.
Chonburi Province is set to organize the “Travel Chonburi: Creative Cultural Street Festival” as part of the Tourism Development Project to Increase Provincial Income. The main objective of this initiative is to elevate Chonburi to a high-quality, internationally recognized tourism destination. One of the key activities under this initiative is the upcoming festival, which will take place from September 24–28, 2025, at Central Pattaya Beach. The event will feature a wide range of engaging activities, including: Exhibitions showcasing tourism routes across all 11 districts of Chonburi, Workshops related to art and culture, Booths where visitors can explore, taste, and shop for local products and signature foods from each district, Live music performances, featuring both traditional Thai music and contemporary genres, Cultural performances that reflect the coastal identity and spirit of Chonburi. This festival aims to develop and elevate cultural tourism and promote creative cultural streets within Chonburi Province. It focuses on integrating religion, art and culture as tools to preserve and pass on cultural heritage, transforming local pride into inspiration for innovation and sustainable development. By building upon the province’s rich cultural capital, the festival seeks to generate economic value, create income opportunities for local communities and position Chonburi as a vibrant destination for authentic and creative cultural experiences.

15 ก.ย.68 เวลา 18.30 น. นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา มอบหมายให้นายศิวัช บุญเกิด รองปลัดเมืองพัทยา ร่วมแถลงข่าวการจัดงานมหกรรม “เที่ยวเมืองชล ถนนวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์” ณ ลานซันเคน ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล พัทยา โดยมีนายพงศ์ธสิษฐ์ ปิจนันท์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดชลบุรี เป็นประธานแถลงข่าว ร่วมด้วยนางสาวคนึง ไข่ลือนาม วัฒนธรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี และนางรำพึง ศุภราศรี ประธานชุมชนคุณธรรมตะเคียนเตี้ย – บ้านหนองพลับ ซึ่งมีผู้บริหาร หัวหน้าส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้อง ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคประชาชน รวมทั้งเครือข่ายทางวัฒนธรรม สื่อมวลชน และนักท่องเที่ยว เข้าร่วมในงานแถลงข่าว
จังหวัดชลบุรี กำหนดจัดงานมหกรรม “เที่ยวเมืองชล ถนนวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์” ภายใต้โครงการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเพื่อเพิ่มระดับรายได้ กิจกรรมหลักยกระดับให้เป็นจังหวัดท่องเที่ยวที่มีคุณภาพระดับนานาชาติ กิจกรรมย่อย มหกรรม “เที่ยวเมืองชล ถนนวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์” ระหว่างวันที่ 24-28 กันยายน 2568 ณ บริเวณชายหาดพัทยากลาง ซึ่งภายในงานจะมีกิจกรรมนิทรรศการเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวทั้ง 11 อำเภอของจังหวัดชลบุรี, กิจกรรม workshop เกี่ยวกับศิลปะ และวัฒนธรรม, การออกร้านให้ได้เลือกชม ชิม ช็อป ผลิตภัณฑ์และอาหารพื้นถิ่นที่ขึ้นชื่อจากทั้ง 11 อำเภอในจังหวัดชลบุรี, การแสดงดนตรีทั้งดนตรีไทย-ดนตรีร่วมสมัย และการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรมที่น่าสนใจอีกมากมาย ภายใต้อัตลักษณ์ความเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวชายทะเล ทั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนา และยกระดับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมและถนนวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์ในจังหวัดชลบุรี ใช้มิติทางศาสนา ศิลปะ และวัฒนธรรม ในการอนุรักษ์และสืบสานมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมจากความภาคภูมิใจของประชาชนในท้องถิ่นสู่แรงบันดาลใจ และพัฒนาต่อยอดให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรม และนำทุนทางวัฒนธรรมของท้องถิ่นมาต่อยอดและเพิ่มมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจ สามารถสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ชุมชนและท้องถิ่นต่อไป
