The Remembrance of Father Ray, 22nd Anniversary of his passing
On August 16th 2025 at Mahatai Conference Center, The Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities held a memorial event to mark the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Father Raymond A. Brennan, or “Father Ray,” the founder of the Father Ray Foundation.
Father Ray devoted his life to caring for orphans, people with disabilities and the underprivileged in society. The event was held under the theme “With a Heart of Sharing.”
The event featured a variety of activities to carry on Father Ray’s legacy, including an exhibition showcasing the work of children and people with disabilities, a blood donation drive, musical performances by Father Ray’s children and special guests, free food and beverage booths, fun games that brought smiles and a second-hand donation area to support underprivileged children. A special highlight was the activity titled “Empowering Thai Persons with Disabilities through Digital & AI”, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor.
The atmosphere of the event was warm and filled with love, faith, and a spirit of sharing.
It was attended by members of the public, alumni, and supporters from various sectors who came together to honor the legacy of Father Ray and continue his mission of bringing smiles and opportunities to children and people with disabilities in society
มูลนิธิพระมหาไถ่ฯ จัดงานรำลึก 22 ปี “คุณพ่อเรย์” ด้วยหัวใจแห่งการแบ่งปัน
เมื่อวันที่ 16 สิงหาคม 2568 ที่ ศูนย์ประชุมมหาไถ่ พัทยา มูลนิธิพระมหาไถ่เพื่อการพัฒนาคนพิการ ได้มีการจัดงานรำลึกครบรอบ 22 ปี การจากไปของ บาทหลวงเรย์มอนด์ อัลลีน เบรนนัน หรือ “คุณพ่อเรย์” ผู้ก่อตั้งมูลนิธิคุณพ่อเรย์ ผู้ทุ่มเทชีวิตเพื่อดูแลเด็กกำพร้า คนพิการ และผู้ด้อยโอกาสในสังคม โดยภายในงานได้จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “ด้วยหัวใจแห่งการแบ่งปัน”
ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมมากมาย เพื่อสืบสานเจตนารมณ์ของคุณพ่อเรย์ อาทิ นิทรรศการแสดงผลงานของเด็กและคนพิการ การรับบริจาคโลหิต การแสดงดนตรีจากลูกพ่อเรย์และแขกพิเศษ การจัดซุ้มอาหารและเครื่องดื่มแจกฟรี กิจกรรมเกมสร้างรอยยิ้ม การรับบริจาคของมือสอง เพื่อนำไปช่วยเหลือเด็กที่ขาดแคลน รวมถึงกิจกรรมพิเศษ “แรงงานคนพิการไทย ก้าวไกลด้วย Digital & AI” ร่วมกับกระทรวงแรงงาน
บรรยากาศงานเป็นไปอย่างอบอุ่นและเปี่ยมด้วยความรัก ความศรัทธา และการแบ่งปัน โดยมีประชาชนทั่วไป ศิษย์เก่า และผู้สนับสนุนจากหลายภาคส่วนเข้าร่วม เพื่อร่วมรำลึกถึงคุณความดีของคุณพ่อเรย์ และสานต่อเจตนารมณ์ในการสร้างรอยยิ้ม และโอกาสให้แก่เด็กและคนพิการในสังคม
