On August 3rd, 2025 at 6:10 AM, at the Start/Finish area located at the Blue Activity Zone, Bali Hai Pier, Pattaya City, Chonburi Province, Mr. Manoch Nongyai, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony of the 3rd “Pattaya Trail 2025” running event.
Joining the ceremony were Mr. Krisana Boonsawat, also Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, along with advisors to the Mayor, members of the Pattaya City Council, Chief Inspector of the Pattaya Tourist Police, the Traffic Police Inspector of Pattaya City Police Station, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office), and the Director of the Sports Authority of Thailand (Chonburi Province). Mr. Chukiat Nongyai, President of the Pattaya Running Association, delivered the opening report. The event was attended by a large number of trail running enthusiasts and adventure runners, ready to take on the challenge.
The 3rd Pattaya Trail 2025 running event is organized by Pattaya City in collaboration with the Pattaya Running Association. The race takes place on Phra Tamnak Hill, offering runners an adventurous and enjoyable experience while exploring the urban forest’s natural beauty in the early morning. Participants will pass key landmarks of Pattaya throughout the course.
The competition is divided into two race categories: 5 km and 10 km. The event aims to promote sports tourism in Pattaya, positioning the city as a central hub for hosting various sports activities. It also seeks to elevate the race to a national-level trail running competition.
More than 1,200 trail runners took part in this event. Beyond attracting health-conscious tourists from both Thailand and abroad, the Pattaya Trail helps stimulate the local economy of Pattaya and Thailand overall. Additionally, it serves as a platform to promote Pattaya’s natural attractions and important landmarks to both domestic and international visitors.
วิ่งในป่ากลางเมือง “พัทยาเทรล ครั้งที่ 3 Pattaya Trail 2025″
3 ส.ค. 68 เวลา 06.10 น. ที่บริเวณจุด Start/Finish บริเวณลานกิจกรรมสีฟ้า ท่าเทียบเรือท่องเที่ยวพัทยา (แหลมบาลีฮาย) จ.ชลบุรี นายมาโนช หนองใหญ่ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีการเปิดการแข่งขันวิ่งพัทยาเทรล ครั้งที่ 3 “Pattaya Trail 2025”
โดยมีนายกฤษณะ บุญสวัสดิ์ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา พร้อมที่ปรึกษานายกเมืองพัทยา สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา สารวัตรใหญ่สถานีตำรวจท่องเที่ยวพัทยา สารวัตรจราจร สภ.เมืองพัทยา รองผู้อำนวยการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานพัทยา และผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย จังหวัดชลบุรี ร่วมเป็นเกียรติในพิธีและร่วมปล่อยตัวนักกีฬา ซึ่งมีนายชูเกียรติ หนองใหญ่ นายกสมาคมวิ่งเมืองพัทยา เป็นผู้กล่าวรายงาน ท่ามกลางเหล่านักวิ่งสายบู๊สายลุยตบเท้าเข้าร่วมเป็นจำนวนมาก
สำหรับการแข่งขันวิ่งพัทยาเทรล ครั้งที่ 3 “Pattaya Trail 2025” จัดโดยเมืองพัทยา ร่วมกับสมาคมวิ่งเมืองพัทยา โดยเป็นการวิ่งบนเขาพระตำหนัก ให้เหล่านักวิ่งได้วิ่งผจญภัยแบบสนุกๆ ไปพร้อมกับชมธรรมชาติยามเช้าของป่ากลางเมือง ผ่านจุดแลนด์มาร์คสำคัญๆ ของพัทยา
ซึ่งแบ่งการแข่งขันออกเป็น ระยะทาง 5 km. และ 10 km. ทั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์การท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬาของเมืองพัทยา ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวด้านการกีฬาให้เมืองพัทยาเป็นศูนย์กลางในการจัดกิจกรรมกีฬาประเภทต่าง ๆ (Sports Tourism) และเพื่อยกระดับการจัดการแข่งขันให้เป็นการแข่งขันวิ่งเทรลระดับชาติ
ซึ่งมีเหล่านักวิ่งเทรลกว่า 1,200 คน เข้าร่วมแข่งขัน ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมกีฬาที่นอกจากจะดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวสายสุขภาพทั้งไทยและต่างชาติเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม กระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของเมืองพัทยาและประเทศไทยในภาพรวมแล้ว ยังเป็นการประชาสัมพันธ์แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางธรรมชาติ และแลนด์มาร์คสำคัญๆ ของเมืองพัทยาให้เป็นที่รู้จักแก่นักท่องเที่ยวทั้งในและต่างประเทศต่อไปอีกด้วย
