The 3rd Pattaya Visual Art Painting Contest: ‘Pattaya The Way of Colors’

On July 26th 2025, at 6:00 PM, Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the award ceremony for the 3rd Pattaya Visual Arts Painting Contest under the theme “Pattaya – The Way of Colors.” Joining the ceremony were Mr. Mana Yaprakam, Chairman of the Pattaya Cultural Council; Mr. Siripong Somman, Director of the Religious, Arts, and Culture Promotion Division, Chonburi Provincial Cultural Office; Mr. Chaiwat Tamtai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Pattaya Office; Asst. Prof. Saman Sappasri, former Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University; and executives from Central Pattaya Shopping Center, who co-presented the awards.
The event was attended by members of the Pattaya Cultural Council, representatives from supporting organizations, and members of the media. It took place on Pattaya Central Beach, in front of Central Pattaya. Pattaya City, in collaboration with the Pattaya Cultural Council, the Chonburi Provincial Cultural Office, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand – Pattaya Office, organized the 3rd Annual Pattaya Visual Arts Painting Contest under the theme “Pattaya – The Way of Colors.”
The event took place on July 26, 2025, at Pattaya Central Beach, with the objective of encouraging creativity and artistic development among youth and artists of all levels from elementary school students to members of the general public with a passion for art. The contest serves as a platform for aspiring and professional artists alike to showcase their talents and express the beauty of Pattaya, both its natural landscapes and rich local culture, to Thai and international audiences ultimately promoting tourism through art. A total of over 176,000 baht in prize money was awarded, along with certificates of recognition signed by the Mayor of Pattaya. The competition was divided into five categories: Lower Primary School Upper Primary School Lower Secondary School Upper Secondary School and Vocational Certificate (Vocational Level) Higher Vocational Certificate, University Students, and General Public The judging panel consisted of National Artists, assistant and full professors, deans from leading art institutions, and distinguished local artists from Chonburi Province.
Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, expressed his appreciation and congratulations to all award recipients, as well as to every participant in the 3rd Pattaya Visual Arts Painting Contest 2025 under the theme “Pattaya – The Way of Colors.” He praised the contestants for showcasing their artistic talents and adding vibrancy to the city by portraying Pattaya through diverse perspectives. The winning artworks will be exhibited and further developed as part of Pattaya’s tourism promotion initiatives.
จัดประกวดวาดภาพทัศนศิลป์เมืองพัทยา ครั้งที่ 3 “เมืองพัทยา วิถีแห่งสีสัน”
26 ก.ค. 68 เวลา 18.00 น. นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีมอบรางวัลโครงการประกวดวาดภาพทัศนศิลป์เมืองพัทยา ครั้งที่ 3 ประจำปี 2568 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “เมืองพัทยา วิถีแห่งสีสัน” โดยมีนายมานะ ยาประคำ ประธานสภาวัฒนธรรมเมืองพัทยา นายสิริพงศ์ สมมั่น ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มส่งเสริมศาสนา ศิลปะ และวัฒนธรรม สำนักงานวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี นายชัยวัฒน์ ตามไท ผู้อำนวยการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานพัทยา อาจารย์สมาน สรรพศรี อดีตคณบดีคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ผู้บริหารศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลพัทยา ร่วมมอบรางวัล ซึ่งมีคณะกรรมการสภาวัฒนธรรมเมืองพัทยา พร้อมผู้ร่วมสนับสนุนการจัดงานจากหน่วยงานต่างๆ และสื่อมวลชน เข้าร่วม ณ บริเวณชายหาดพัทยากลาง หน้าศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล พัทยา
เมืองพัทยา ร่วมกับสภาวัฒนธรรมเมืองพัทยา พร้อมด้วยวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานพัทยา กำหนดจัดโครงการประกวดวาดภาพทัศนศิลป์เมืองพัทยา ครั้งที่ 3 ประจำปี 2568 ในหัวข้อ “เมืองพัทยา วิถีแห่งสีสัน” ในวันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ บริเวณชายหาดพัทยากลาง โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมให้เยาวชนและศิลปินทุกระดับ ตั้งแต่ระดับชั้นประถมศึกษา ไปจนถึงระดับประชาชนทั่วไปที่มีใจรักในงานศิลปะ มีความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ มีการพัฒนายิ่งๆ ขึ้น และเป็นเวทีที่ให้โอกาสศิลปินทุกๆ รุ่น ได้มีโอกาสแสดงฝีมือ เพื่อถ่ายทอดความงดงามของเมืองพัทยา ทั้งด้านธรรมชาติและวิถีวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นสู่สายตาชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ อันจะเป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวได้อีกทางหนึ่งด้วย ซึ่งมีเงินรางวัลรวมกว่า 176,000 บาท พร้อมเกียรติบัตรจากนายกเมืองพัทยา โดยแบ่งการประกวดออกเป็น 5 ระดับ ได้แก่ 1. ระดับประถมศึกษาตอนต้น 2. ระดับประถมศึกษาตอนปลาย 3. ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น 4. ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และ ปวช. 5. ระดับ ปวส., อุดมศึกษา และประชาชนทั่วไป โดยได้รับเกียรติจากศิลปินแห่งชาติ, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์, ศาสตราจารย์, คณบดีสถาบันด้านศิลปะ และศิลปินดีเด่นจังหวัดชลบุรี มาร่วมเป็นคณะกรรมการตัดสินการประกวดในครั้งนี้
ด้านนายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา ได้กล่าวชื่นชมและแสดงความยินดีกับผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัล รวมถึงผู้เข้าร่วมประกวดทุกท่านที่มาร่วมแสดงความสามารถด้านศิลปะ สร้างสีสันให้กับเมืองพัทยาในมุมมองต่างๆ ผ่านการประกวดวาดภาพทัศนศิลป์เมืองพัทยา ครั้งที่ 3 ประจำปี 2568 หัวข้อ “เมืองพัทยา วิถีแห่งสีสัน” ในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งผลงานที่ชนะการประกวดจะมีการนำไปจัดนิทรรศการและต่อยอดในงานด้านการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวของเมืองพัทยาต่อไป
