Pattaya Marathon 2025 Bustling with Energy as Over 30,000 Runners and Tourists Join, Boosting the City’s Tourism Economy
July 19–20, 2025, The atmosphere at the 32nd Pattaya Marathon 2025 was vibrant from the early morning at the plaza in front of Terminal 21 Pattaya. Over 30,000 runners and tourists, both Thai and international, flocked to the event. The large turnout brought a lively energy to the city and significantly boosted the local economy.
The opening ceremony was held in grand fashion, presided over by Mr. Svang Thiengthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports. He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, along with Mr. Phongsathit Pichanan, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province. Also in attendance were Pattaya city executives, members of the city council, the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, distinguished guests, and runners from around the world. The Pattaya Marathon is recognized as an international running event, now in its 32nd consecutive year. More than just a platform for physical fitness and personal challenge, the event also serves as a bridge for friendship, sportsmanship and cultural exchange among nations.
The Mayor of Pattaya City stated that, as the host the city had made thorough preparations in all aspects including the race route, safety systems and facilitation services and supporting activities. The goal was to ensure that all participants, including athletes, officials, private sector representative’s volunteers and sponsors, would have the best possible experience from this event.
Today’s race was just a part of the grand event. Tomorrow (July 20, 2025), the Half Marathon (21K) and Full Marathon (42K) the highlights of this annual celebration will take place. The public and tourists are warmly invited to come and cheer on runners from around the world as they strive to reach the finish line with pride and determination.
Pattaya Marathon 2025 not only leaves a lasting impression on athletes, but also showcases the true strength of a world-class tourist city one that seamlessly integrates sports, culture, and the economy in a sustainable way.

19-20 กรกฎาคม 2568 บรรยากาศการแข่งขัน “พัทยามาราธอน ครั้งที่ 32 ประจำปี 2568” คึกคักตั้งแต่เช้าตรู่ ณ ลานหน้าศูนย์การค้าเทอร์มินอล 21 พัทยา โดยมีนักวิ่งและนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติหลั่งไหลเข้าร่วมงานกว่า 30,000 คน ส่งผลให้เมืองพัทยาคึกคักและเกิดการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่อย่างเห็นได้ชัด
พิธีเปิดจัดขึ้นอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายสรวงศ์ เทียนทอง รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วย นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา ให้การต้อนรับ และ นายพงศ์ธสิษฐ์ ปิจนันท์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดชลบุรี ร่วมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยา สมาชิกสภาเมือง ผู้ว่าการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย ตลอดจนแขกผู้มีเกียรติ และนักวิ่งจากทั่วโลก
Pattaya Marathon ถือเป็นกิจกรรมวิ่งระดับนานาชาติที่จัดอย่างต่อเนื่องมาเป็นปีที่ 32 ซึ่งไม่เพียงเป็นเวทีของการออกกำลังกายและท้าทายตนเอง แต่ยังเป็นสื่อกลางแห่งมิตรภาพ ความมีน้ำใจนักกีฬา และการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมระหว่างประเทศ
นายกเมืองพัทยากล่าวว่า เมืองพัทยาในฐานะเจ้าภาพได้เตรียมความพร้อมในทุกด้าน ทั้งเส้นทางการวิ่ง ระบบความปลอดภัย การอำนวยความสะดวก และกิจกรรมเสริมต่างๆ เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานในทุกภาคส่วน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนักกีฬา เจ้าหน้าที่ ภาคเอกชน อาสาสมัคร และผู้สนับสนุน ได้รับประสบการณ์ที่ดีที่สุดจากงานนี้
การแข่งขันในวันนี้เป็นเพียงส่วนหนึ่งของความยิ่งใหญ่ โดยในวันพรุ่งนี้ (20 กรกฎาคม 2568) จะมีการแข่งขัน Half Marathon (21K) และ Full Marathon (42K) ซึ่งถือเป็นไฮไลต์ของงานประจำปี ขอเชิญชวนประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวร่วมส่งแรงใจให้กับเหล่านักวิ่งจากทั่วโลกพิชิตเส้นชัยได้อย่างสมศักดิ์ศรี
