Pattaya Beach Cleaning activity brought together volunteers and ocean lovers to clean up Pattaya Beach, promoting cleanliness and safety in preparation for welcoming tourists
On June 23rd 2025, the atmosphere at Pattaya Beach was bustling with activity as Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, the Mayor of Pattaya City, led a group of city executives including the Deputy Mayors, Secretary to the Mayor, Assistant Secretaries to the Mayor, Advisors to the Mayor, City Council Members, Heads of Government Departments alongside officials from the Pattaya Branch of the Marine Department and local network partners such as the Pattaya Tour Boat Association, Pattaya Jet Ski Rental Club, Pattaya Beach Umbrella and Sunbed Club, Pattaya Beach Thai Massage Club, and volunteer citizens, in a warm and united effort to clean up litter along the beach.
Pattaya Beach is considered one of the country’s major tourist destinations, welcoming both Thai and international tourists year-round. Therefore, the cleanliness and safety of the beach are crucial factors that help enhance Pattaya’s image as a world-class tourist city.
Especially during low tide, debris carried in by the wind and waves such as plastic fragments, broken glass, rusty nails, or other hazardous materials can often be found along the shoreline. Cleaning up during low tide presents a valuable opportunity to restore the beach’s scenic beauty and enhance safety for visitors.
Out of concern for the environment and the safety of tourists, the Pattaya Tour Boat Association, Pattaya Jet Ski Rental Club, Pattaya Beach Umbrella and Sunbed Club, and the Pattaya Beach Thai Massage Club jointly proposed the idea for the “Pattaya Beach Cleaning” activity. The goal is to foster unity among local business operators and provide an opportunity for all sectors to participate in a meaningful community initiative.
This activity brought together more than 520 participants, including: 70 members from the Pattaya Tour Boat Association, 50 members from the Pattaya Jet Ski Rental Club, 300 members from the Pattaya Beach Umbrella and Sunbed Club, 100 members from the Pattaya Beach Thai Massage Club as well as officials from the Public Health and Environment Division, the Natural Resources and Environment Division of Pattaya City, and the Pattaya Regional Marine Department.
Participants were divided into two groups, assigned to two routes: Dusit Curve and South Pattaya. They conducted on-foot cleanups along the shoreline during low tide, focusing on areas farther from the main beachfront. The goal was to ensure the beach is cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for tourists.
The “Pattaya Beach Cleaning” activity was a resounding success, truly reflecting the strength of collaboration between the public and private sectors. Pattaya City is committed to continuing this type of initiative on a regular basis in order to preserve the environment of Pattaya Beach keeping it clean, safe, and impressive for all visitors.

23 มิถุนายน 2568 บรรยากาศที่ชายหาดพัทยาเต็มไปด้วยความคึกคัก เมื่อ นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา นำคณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยา ประกอบด้วย รองนายกเมืองพัทยา เลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา ที่ปรึกษานายกเมืองพัทยา สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่จากสำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาพัทยา และภาคีเครือข่ายในพื้นที่ อาทิ สมาคมเรือท่องเที่ยวพัทยา, ชมรมเจ็ตสกีเช่าพัทยา, ชมรมร่มเตียงชายหาดพัทยา, ชมรมนวดแผนไทยชายหาดพัทยา และประชาชนจิตอาสา ร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันเก็บขยะชายหาดอย่างอบอุ่น
ซึ่งชายหาดพัทยานับเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญของประเทศ ที่ต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดทั้งปี ความสะอาดและความปลอดภัยของชายหาดจึงเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างภาพลักษณ์ของเมืองพัทยาในฐานะเมืองท่องเที่ยวระดับนานาชาติ
โดยเฉพาะในช่วงน้ำทะเลลด จะพบว่าบริเวณแนวชายฝั่งมีเศษขยะที่ถูกพัดมากับคลื่นลม เช่น เศษพลาสติก เศษแก้ว ตะปูสนิม หรือวัสดุอื่น ๆ ที่อาจก่อให้เกิดอันตรายแก่นักท่องเที่ยว การเก็บขยะในช่วงน้ำลดจึงเป็นโอกาสดีในการฟื้นฟูทัศนียภาพชายหาด และยกระดับความปลอดภัยให้กับผู้มาเยือน
ด้วยความห่วงใยต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและความปลอดภัยของนักท่องเที่ยว สมาคมเรือท่องเที่ยวพัทยา, ชมรมเจ็ตสกีเช่าพัทยา, ชมรมร่มเตียงชายหาดพัทยา และ ชมรมนวดแผนไทยชายหาดพัทยา ได้ร่วมกันเสนอแนวคิดให้เมืองพัทยาจัดกิจกรรม “Pattaya Beach Cleaning” ขึ้น เพื่อสร้างความสามัคคีในกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการ และเปิดโอกาสให้ทุกภาคส่วนได้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมดี ๆ เพื่อสังคม
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมเก็บขยะมากกว่า 520 คน ประกอบด้วย สมาคมเรือท่องเที่ยวพัทยา จำนวน 70 คน ชมรมเจ็ตสกีเช่าพัทยา 50 คน ชมรมร่มเตียงชายหาดพัทยา 300 คน ชมรมนวดแผนไทยชายหาดพัทยา 100 คน และเจ้าหน้าที่จากสำนักสาธารณสุขและสิ่งแวดล้อม สำนักทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม เมืองพัทยา สำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาพัทยา
ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แบ่งกำลังออกเป็น 2 สาย ได้แก่ เส้นทางโค้งดุสิต และเส้นทางพัทยาใต้ เพื่อเดินเท้าเก็บขยะบริเวณชายฝั่งในช่วงน้ำลดสุด ห่างจากแนวชายหาด เพื่อให้พื้นที่ชายหาดสะอาด ปลอดภัย และเป็นมิตรกับนักท่องเที่ยวมากยิ่งขึ้น
กิจกรรม “Pattaya Beach Cleaning” ครั้งนี้ประสบความสำเร็จด้วยดี สะท้อนถึงพลังความร่วมมือของภาคประชาชนและภาคเอกชนอย่างแท้จริง ซึ่งเมืองพัทยามีความตั้งใจที่จะสานต่อและจัดกิจกรรมในลักษณะนี้อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อรักษาสภาพแวดล้อมของชายหาดพัทยาให้คงความสะอาด ปลอดภัย และน่าประทับใจสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวทุกคน
