Pattaya City Hosts Anti-Drug Music Contest to Empower Youth

On June 21st 2025, Mr. Wuttisak Roemkitkan, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the final round of the anti-drug music contest “Pattaya Connects Against Drugs” held at the Airplane Plaza, Terminal 21 Pattaya shopping center. The event was lively with the presence of the Deputy Mayor’s assistant secretary, Pattaya City Council members, department heads, and honored guests.
The event was organized by the Department of Drug Prevention and Resolution, Office of the Pattaya City Clerk, under the 2025 project to enhance the effectiveness of drug prevention and resolution. Youth from various educational institutions participated in the competition, divided into two categories: junior high school (up to 15 years old) and senior high school to higher education (ages 16–30).
Pattaya City is committed to creating a positive space where youth can use music as a tool to connect society and reduce the risks of drug abuse. This aligns with the policy of “Pattaya, the City of Collaboration,” which emphasizes the participation of families, schools, and communities.

21 มิ.ย. 2568 นายวุฒิศักดิ์ เริ่มกิจการ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานในพิธีการประกวดดนตรีต้านยาเสพติด “พัทยาสานสัมพันธ์ ต้านภัยยาเสพติด” รอบชิงชนะเลิศ ณ ลานเครื่องบิน ศูนย์การค้า Terminal 21 พัทยา โดยมีผู้ช่วยเลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา สมาชิกสภาเมืองพัทยา หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ และแขกผู้มีเกียรติร่วมงานคึกคัก
กิจกรรมจัดโดยฝ่ายป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด สำนักปลัดเมืองพัทยา ภายใต้โครงการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด ประจำปี 2568 มีเยาวชนจากหลากหลายสถานศึกษาเข้าร่วมแข่งขัน แบ่งเป็น 2 รุ่น ได้แก่ มัธยมต้น (ไม่เกิน 15 ปี) และมัธยมปลายถึงอุดมศึกษา (อายุ 16–30 ปี)
เมืองพัทยามุ่งมั่นสร้างพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์ให้เยาวชนใช้ดนตรีเป็นเครื่องมือเชื่อมโยงสังคม ลดความเสี่ยงจากสิ่งเสพติด สอดคล้องนโยบาย “พัทยาเมืองแห่งความร่วมมือ” ที่เน้นการมีส่วนร่วมของครอบครัว โรงเรียน และชุมชน
