Pattaya City Inspects Water Tap Conditions and Surface Issues at Lan Pho Naklua Seafood Market

On May 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM, Mr. Wuttisak Rermkittikarn, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City assigned Mr. Sakchai Charoenyukongrot, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor, to conduct an on-site inspection at the newly renovated Lan Pho Naklua Seafood Market. He was joined by the Director of the Construction Engineering Division and representatives from the contractor’s team. The inspection was carried out in response to public complaints regarding loose water taps and damaged surface flooring in the market area.
Mr. Sakchai Charoenyukongrot, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya City, explained that the loose water taps were not yet fully installed. The taps will be properly secured once the Provincial Waterworks Authority completes the installation of water meters, after which they will be stable and no longer wobble. As for the deteriorating surface outside the tents, he clarified that it was a polished concrete surface coated with colored powder paint. The contractor had applied a finishing agent to enhance its appearance, but foot traffic and parked vehicles have caused the coating to peel off. Since the project has not yet been officially handed over, the contractor will be required to carry out necessary repairs before final delivery.
At present, Pattaya City is expediting coordination with both the Provincial Waterworks Authority and the Provincial Electricity Authority to complete the installation of water and electricity meters by early June, as scheduled. Once the utility systems are fully operational, the market will be ready to open immediately. City officials are confident that vendors will thrive, as the Lan Pho Naklua Seafood Market is designed to be a comprehensive hub for fresh seafood offering grilled seafood, ready-to-eat meals, and made-to-order dishes in a clean, hygienic, and modern setting with a relaxed atmosphere. The market features a total of 60 vendor stalls, each measuring 2 meters by 2.5 meters. Pattaya City has confirmed that all 60 stalls have been allocated to the original vendors, with no new vendors being added.

29 พ.ค.68 เวลา 09.00 น. นายวุฒิศักดิ์ เริ่มกิจการ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา มอบหมายให้นายศักดิ์ไชย เจริญอยู่คงรอด ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา ลงพื้นที่ร่วมกับผู้อำนวยการส่วนวิศวกรรมการก่อสร้าง และตัวแทนผู้รับจ้าง ตรวจสอบพื้นที่บริเวณตลาดอาหารทะเลลานโพธิ์นาเกลือที่ได้ดำเนินการปรับโฉมใหม่ ซึ่งมีประชาชนร้องเรียนว่าก็อกน้ำโยกและพื้นผิวหลุดร่อน
นายศักดิ์ไชย เจริญอยู่คงรอด ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา เปิดเผยว่า สำหรับก็อกน้ำที่โยกคลอนนั้นเนื่องจากยังไม่แล้วเสร็จอย่างสมบูรณ์ ต้องรอการประปาเข้าดำเนินการติดตั้งมิเตอร์น้ำก่อนยึดตรึงให้แน่นก็จะมั่นคงแข็งแรง ไม่โยกคลอนอีก ส่วนพื้นผิวที่ด้านนอกเต็นท์ที่มีการหลุดร่อนนั้นเป็นคอนกรีตขัดมันทาสีฝุ่น ทางผู้รับจ้างได้เคลือบน้ำยาเพื่อให้ดูสวยงาม แต่ด้วยมีการเดินเหยียบย่ำ และรถมาจอด จึงทำให้น้ำยาที่เคลือบหลุดลอกออก และผู้รับจ้างยังไม่ส่งมอบงาน จึงจะให้ผู้รับจ้างดำเนินการซ่อมแซมให้เรียบร้อยต่อไป
อย่างไรก็ตาม ขณะนี้เมืองพัทยาได้เร่งประสานการประปาและการไฟฟ้าเข้าดำเนินการติดตั้งมิเตอร์ให้แล้วเสร็จทันกำหนดการที่วางไว้คือต้นเดือนมิถุนายนนี้ ซึ่งหากดำเนินการเรื่องระบบน้ำ-ไฟสมบูรณ์แล้วเสร็จก็จะสามารถเปิดให้บริการได้ทันที เชื่อว่าพ่อค้าแม่ค้าจะขายดีอย่างแน่นอน เนื่องจากเป็นตลาดอาหารทะเลสดที่ครบวงจร เรียกได้ว่าเป็นศูนย์รวมอาหารทะเลสด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นปิ้งย่าง อาหารทะเล หรืออาหารตามสั่ง สะอาด ถูกสุขลักษณะ และทันสมัย ในบรรยากาศชิลๆ มีทั้งหมดจำนวน 60 ล็อค ขนาด 2 เมตร × 2.50 เมตร และเมืองพัทยายืนยันว่าทั้ง 60 ล็อค เป็นพ่อค้าแม่ค้ารายเดิมทั้งหมด ไม่มีการเพิ่มเติมพ่อค้าแม่ค้ารายใหม่อย่างแน่นอน
