The Mayor of Pattaya welcomed the Ambassador of Germany to Thailand

On May 28th 2025, Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City warmly welcomed H.E. Ernst Reichel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Thailand and Mr. Rudolf Hofer Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany to Thailand. Mr. Phumipipat Kamonat, Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya together with relevant officials also took part in welcoming and facilitating the visit at the Reception Room, Pattaya City Hall.
During the visit, the Mayor of Pattaya presented the “Key to the City of Pattaya” to the representatives of the German government as a symbol of the enduring friendship and strong cooperation between the two countries. The meeting also included discussions on important topics such as the steady influx of German tourists to Pattaya and future trends in tourism.
In addition, both parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in cultural, economic, and tourism sectors, with a shared goal of enriching the experience of German visitors to Pattaya.
This visit by the Ambassador and Honorary Consul of Germany represents a significant milestone in fostering international relations and further solidifies Pattaya’s reputation as a premier global tourism destination renowned for its warm hospitality and high service standards.

28 พ.ค. 68 นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา ให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นแก่ ฯพณฯ แอ็นสท์ ไรเชิล เอกอัครราชทูตสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนีประจำประเทศไทย และนายรูดอล์ฟ โฮเฟอร์ กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์สหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนีประจำประเทศไทย โดยมีนายภูมิพิพัฒน์ กมลนาถ เลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมให้การต้อนรับและอำนวยความสะดวกตลอดการมาเยือน ณ ห้องรับรอง ศาลาว่าการเมืองพัทยา
ในการเยือนครั้งนี้ นายกเมืองพัทยาได้มอบ “กุญแจเมืองพัทยา” แด่ผู้แทนรัฐบาลเยอรมนี เพื่อเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งมิตรภาพและความร่วมมือที่แน่นแฟ้นระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศ พร้อมกันนี้ได้มีการหารือถึงประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ สถิตินักท่องเที่ยวชาวเยอรมนีที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวยังเมืองพัทยาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และแนวโน้มของการท่องเที่ยวในอนาคต
ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวัฒนธรรม เศรษฐกิจ และการท่องเที่ยว เพื่อยกระดับประสบการณ์ของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวเยอรมันที่มาเยือนเมืองพัทยา
การเยือนของเอกอัครราชทูตและกงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์จากประเทศเยอรมนีในครั้งนี้ เป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระดับนานาชาติ และตอกย้ำภาพลักษณ์ของพัทยาในฐานะเมืองท่องเที่ยวชั้นนำ ที่พร้อมต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วโลกอย่างอบอุ่นและมีมาตรฐาน
