Bangkok Hospital Pattaya organized the Strengthening Immunity activity under the BDMS Preventive Vaccine campaign, with Art Phasut participating to share knowledge and raise public awareness about disease prevention.
On Monday May 26th 2025, from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at Lobby of Building E, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya will host the Strengthening Immunity event as part of the BDMS Preventive Vaccine campaign. The event aims to educate and raise awareness about influenza prevention, emphasizing that it can be effectively prevented through vaccination. Attendees will receive vital information on influenza prevention and protection from experienced medical professionals. The event will be honored by an opening speech from Dr. Peerapan Jerajapreedee, Assistant Director of Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. A special session will feature a health talk with Mr. Art Phasut Bunyam, a well-known actor, who will be joined by his mother to share insights on how to care for family health.
There will also be a panel discussion led by Dr. Manoon Samranthin, Cardiologist, and Dr. Pasinee Jantrasoon, Pediatric Dermatologist, both from Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. They will provide updates and essential information about influenza prevention and proper immunity building. Additionally, the hospital will launch the Vaccine Fast Track service, offering quick and convenient vaccination within 30 minutes, meeting public demand for accessible immunization. In early 2025, Thailand has once again faced a severe outbreak of influenza. Within just the first two months of the year, there have been over 140,000 cumulative cases and 14 deaths. This serves as a warning that influenza is no longer just a simple seasonal illness. Particularly, the A (H1N1) strain, which is currently the most prevalent, has targeted children as the main affected group. According to data from the Department of Disease Control, children aged 5–9 have the highest infection rates, followed by younger children and teenagers. This reflects vulnerabilities in prevention measures, especially in schools, daycare centers, and places where children gather and live together.
When Vaccination Is No Longer Just an Option; The influenza vaccine was once overlooked by the general public, often misunderstood as unnecessary for what was seen as “just a common cold.” However, this year, the Ministry of Public Health has launched a serious campaign urging people especially high-risk groups such as the elderly, pregnant women, and patients with chronic diseases to get vaccinated to prevent severe complications. วันจันทร์ ที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2568 ที่ ล็อบบี้ อาคาร E โรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพพัทยา เวลา 09.30 – 12.00 น.โรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพพัทยา จัดกิจกรรมจัด “เสริมทัพสรางภูมิคุ้มกัน BDMS Preventive Vaccine เพื่อให้ความรู้และสร้างความตระหนักเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ ที่สามารถป้องกันได้ด้วยวัคซีน และการให้ข้อมูลที่สำคัญในการป้องกันและระวังโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่จากแพทย์ผู้ชำนาญการโดยกิจกรรมนี้จะได้รับเกียรติจาก พญ.พีรพรรณ เจรจาปรีดี ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพพัทยา กล่าวเปิดงาน พร้อมทั้งมีกิจกรรมพิเศษพูดคุยกับ คุณอาร์ต พศุตม์ บานแย้ม นักแสดงชื่อดัง ร่วมกับคุณแม่มาถ่ายทอดวิธีการดูแลสุขภาพ ของคนในครอบครัว
