Pattaya joins forces with TCEB to promote MICE City to the global business travel market, supporting the organization of meetings and exhibitions in Thailand

On May 20, 2025, Ms. Thitipan Phettrakun, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, along with Mr. Banjong Bandhoonprayuk, Chairman of the Tourism and Culture Committee, Mr. Methakrit Sunthornsa, Pattaya City Council Member, and Ms. Wipavadee Wongborisut, Director of the Administration Division, Office of Tourism and Sports, participated in a promotional event for meetings and exhibitions at IMEX Frankfurt 2025, held in Frankfurt, Federal Republic of Germany. The event took place at the Pattaya Pavilion, Stand A190, from May 20–22, 2025, at Hall 8, Messe Frankfurt. Four hotel operators, Amari Pattaya, Brighton Grand Hotel and Convention Pattaya, Veranda Beach Pattaya, and Wyndham Jomtien Pattaya also joined to build business networks and showcase Pattaya’s readiness as an unforgettable MICE destination.
In the afternoon, the delegation attended a press conference organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) at the Press Center. Mr. Phuriphan Bunnag, Deputy Director of TCEB, addressed the current state of the MICE industry market, special promotional programs, and the collaborative efforts between public and private sector partners to support meetings and exhibitions in Thailand. He also highlighted the potential of Pattaya City and its participation in IMEX for the first time. The session concluded with a Q&A, where he answered questions from members of the media attending the event.

และในภาคบ่ายได้เข้าร่วมงานแถลงข่าวของสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ ณ Press Center โดยมีนายภูริพันธ์ บุนนาค รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ ได้กล่าวถึงสถานการณ์ตลาดอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ โปรแกรมพิเศษต่างๆ และความร่วมมือจากพันธมิตรทุกหน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนในการสนับสนุนการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการในประเทศไทย และศักยภาพของเมืองพัทยาและการเข้าร่วมงาน IMEX ในปีแรกอีกด้วย พร้อมตอบข้อซักถามจากสื่อมวลชนที่มาร่วมงานครั้งนี้
