Pattaya City Launches Mobile Air-Conditioned Toilets Along the Beach for Tourists

On May 1st 2025, Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, along with Mr. Manoch Nongyai, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, the Mayor’s Assistant Secretary, the Mayor’s Advisor, and heads of various government departments, visited the site to inspect the service of mobile air-conditioned toilet vehicles. The initiative aims to provide convenience for both residents and tourists. The inspection took place near the wastewater treatment pump station in front of Walking Street.
Pattaya City Enhances Global Tourism Image with Mobile Air-Conditioned Toilet Units Along the Beach
In a continued effort to elevate Pattaya’s status as a world-class tourist destination, the city has prioritized improvements in public health and sanitation services especially along the beachfront, a popular gathering spot for both Thai and international visitors.
As part of Pattaya Beach’s landscape improvement initiative, there was originally a plan to construct permanent public restrooms. However, the project could not proceed due to environmental restrictions. Recognizing the importance of providing adequate public facilities, city administrators have launched the “Mobile Air-Conditioned Toilet” project, introducing six specialized restroom vehicles.
The mobile toilet units include:
Small-sized air-conditioned toilet vehicles, featuring: 3 women’s stalls, 1 men’s stall, 2 urinals
Large-sized air-conditioned toilet vehicles, featuring: 4 women’s stalls, 2 men’s stalls, 3 urinals
Accessible toilet vehicles for individuals with disabilities, featuring:1 unisex accessible restroom
The initial phase of the project includes a pilot service location near Walking Street, operating daily from 8:00 AM to midnight. There are plans to expand this service to Central Pattaya Beach in the near future.
Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya, stated that the mobile air-conditioned toilet project marks an important step forward in improving basic public services to accommodate the large number of tourists visiting one of Thailand’s most iconic beaches. This initiative reflects the city’s vision of becoming a “world-class tourism destination” one that is not only beautiful and attractive, but also attentive to the comfort and quality of life of its visitors.
He added that Pattaya City will carefully consider various factors including safety, site suitability, and measures to prevent vandalism of public property to ensure that the service is effective and sustainable in the long term.

วันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2568 นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา พร้อมด้วยนายมาโนช หนองใหญ่ รองนายกเมืองพัทยา ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา ที่ปรึกษานายกเมืองพัทยา และหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ลงพื้นที่สำรวจการให้บริการ รถสุขาติดแอร์เคลื่อนที่ เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยว ณ บริเวณสถานีสูบน้ำบ่อบำบัดน้ำเสีย หน้า Walking Street
เมืองพัทยาเดินหน้าปรับภาพลักษณ์เมืองท่องเที่ยวระดับโลก ด้วยการยกระดับการให้บริการด้านสาธารณสุขอนามัย โดยเฉพาะในบริเวณชายหาดที่เป็นจุดรวมตัวของนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติ
จากโครงการปรับภูมิทัศน์ชายหาดพัทยา ซึ่งเดิมมีแผนก่อสร้างห้องน้ำสาธารณะเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกให้ประชาชน แต่ไม่สามารถดำเนินการได้เนื่องจากติดข้อจำกัดด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม คณะผู้บริหารเมืองพัทยาจึงเล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของการมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่เพียงพอ จึงได้ริเริ่มโครงการ “รถสุขาติดแอร์เคลื่อนที่” จำนวน 6 คัน ประกอบด้วย
รถสุขาติดแอร์เคลื่อนที่ ขนาดเล็ก ประกอบด้วย ห้องน้ำหญิง 3 ห้อง / ห้องน้ำชาย 1 ห้อง และโถ ปัสสาวะ 2
รถสุขาติดแอร์เคลื่อนที่ ขนาดใหญ่ ประกอบด้วย ห้องน้ำหญิง 4 ห้อง /ห้องน้ำชาย 2 ห้อง และโถ ปัสสาวะ 3
รถสุขาติดแอร์เคลื่อนที่ สำหรับผู้พิการ เป็นห้องน้ำรวมหญิง – ชาย 1 ห้อง
โดยในระยะแรกเริ่มให้บริการ 1 จุดทดลอง บริเวณหน้า Walking Street ตั้งแต่เวลา 08.00 – 00.00 น. และมีแผนจะขยายจุดให้บริการเพิ่มเติมในบริเวณ ชายหาดพัทยากลาง ในอนาคตอันใกล้
นายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา กล่าวว่า สำหรับโครงการรถสุขาติดแอร์เคลื่อนที่ เป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของเมืองพัทยาในการพัฒนาบริการพื้นฐานเพื่อรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวจำนวนมากที่เดินทางมายังชายหาดชื่อดังของไทย แสดงให้เห็นถึงวิสัยทัศน์ของการเป็น “เมืองท่องเที่ยวระดับโลก” ที่ไม่เพียงแค่สวยงามน่าท่องเที่ยว แต่ยังใส่ใจในรายละเอียดของความสะดวกสบายและคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้มาเยือนอย่างแท้จริง
ทั้งนี้ เมืองพัทยาจะพิจารณาปัจจัยแวดล้อมต่างๆ เช่น ความปลอดภัย ความเหมาะสมของพื้นที่ และมาตรการป้องกันการทำลายทรัพย์สินสาธารณะ เพื่อให้บริการสามารถดำเนินไปได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน
