Classic Car Show Pattaya 2025 promotes the preservation of vintage cars and enhances tourism in Pattaya city.
Classic Car Show Pattaya 2025 highlights the 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing, valued at 70 million baht, with only 8 units in Thailand. This is the same model as the royal vehicle used during the reign of King Rama IX
On February 8th, 2025, at the Asia Pattaya Hotel, Pratamnak Soi 4, reporters visited the venue to observe the atmosphere on the first day of the Classic Car Show. They found a large number of Thai and international visitors who love classic cars attending the event for charity. The activities started from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, allowing the public and tourists to view the classic cars and capture memorable photos. Tickets for the event were available for purchase at the entrance near the activity area on the beachside of the Asia Pattaya Hotel.
At the event, over 100 classic cars from famous brands were on display, including Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche, Volkswagen Beetle, Jaguar E-Type, and the highlight of the show, the 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing. The car’s unique door design, resembling wings spread out like a bird, opens upward above the head. Valued at 70 million baht, only 8 of these models exist in Thailand. This is the same model as the royal vehicle used during the reign of King Rama IX, which is now displayed at the private royal car museum at the Sukhothai Palace. The 300SL Gullwing is one of the most elegant cars in the world of automobiles. Visitors and tourists enjoyed taking photos with their favorite cars while watching the romantic sunset in the backdrop.
In addition, a ‘Classic Car’ is defined as a vehicle that is at least 20 years old, based on its release date. It must hold historical significance or value, such as a unique design, advanced technology or innovations for its era, or be rare and produced in limited numbers.
Although classic cars from older models are quite expensive today, they are considered a form of art that preserves precious memories from the past. These cars also possess a charm in their appearance, design, as well as their traditional engine systems and mechanisms, which stand out and are unforgettable when compared to modern vehicles.
At 10:00 AM on February 9th, 2025, the Classic Car Show Pattaya officially opened in front of the Asia Pattaya Hotel. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Pithaya Phirum-on, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya, Mr. Phisut Sae-Ku, General Manager of Asia Pattaya Hotel, Khun Radchada Chomjinda, Human Help Network Foundation Thailand Director, Khun Siromes Akrapongpanich, Deputy Director of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand, and Mr. Jo Klemm, Classic Car Friends Pattaya founder and president along with other event sponsors and relevant organizations.
The event kicked off with a parade of nearly 100 classic cars from famous brands driving around Pattaya, promoting diverse tourism and generating revenue for the city. The parade passed important landmarks in Pattaya to promote tourism and bring together classic car enthusiasts from many countries. Starting from the Asia Pattaya Hotel on Soi 4, the convoy traveled along Pratamnak Road, Pattaya Second Road, passed the Dolphin Roundabout, then onto Pattaya Beach Road, and through the entrance of Walking Street. It continued through the Wat Chaimongkol intersection, turned right onto Pratamnak Road, and by around 12:00 PM, the cars were on display in front of BARREL HOUSE PATTAYA. Ten rare and priceless classic cars were showcased there, with the rest parked along Soi 4 and Soi 5, using one traffic lane, without road closures. Police officers from Pattaya Police Station and Pattaya Municipal staff assisted in ensuring smooth traffic throughout the route.
The goal of this event was to promote the preservation of vintage cars, elevate Pattaya’s tourism, and create diverse tourism experiences in line with tourist demands. It aimed to attract both Thai and international tourists, boosting the tourism economy of Pattaya and Thailand as a whole. Additionally, benefits go to support children of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand.

เมื่อวันที่ 8 ก.พ. 68 ที่ โรงแรมเอเชียพัทยา พระตำหนักซอย 4 ผู้สื่อข่าวลงพื้นที่สำรวจ บรรยากาศงานคลาสสิคคาร์โชร์ วันแรก พบว่ามีบรรดาประชาชนทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติที่ชื่นชอบรถคลาสสิค เดินทางมาเข้าร่วมงานเพื่อการกุศลกันเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยตั้งแต่ช่วงเวลากิจกรรมเริ่มตั่งแต่ เวลา 14.00 น. -18.00 น. เปิดให้ประชาชน และ นักท่องเที่ยว เข้าร่วมชมรถ Classic Car พร้อมเก็บภาพความประทับใจ โดยสามารถซื้อตั๋วเข้าร่วมชมงาน ได้ที่ประตูทางเข้างาน ลานกิจกรรม ฝั่งชายหาด โรงแรมเอเชียพัทยา
ซึ่งในงานบรรดารถคลาสสิคแบรนด์ดังกว่า 100 คัน อาทิ ฟอร์ด มัสแตง เชฟโรเลต คอร์เวท ปอร์เช่ ฟ็อลคส์วาเกิน บีเทิล Jaguar E-Type และไฮร์ไลท์ของงานคือรถคลาสสิคแบรนด์ดังของสมาชิก ชมรมคลาสสิคคาร์เฟรนด์ พัทยา Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing ปี 1955 เปิดประตูที่เหมือนกับนกที่กำลังกางปีก โดยประตูจะถูกยกขึ้นไปที่ด้านบนเหนือศีรษะ มูลค่า 70 ล้านบาท มีเพียง 8 คันในไทย รุ่นเดียวกับพระราชพาหนะในรัชกาลที่ 9 ที่อยู่ในพิพิธภัณฑ์รถยนต์ส่วนพระองค์ ณ วังศุโขทัย ที่สง่างามมากที่สุดคันหนึ่งในโลกแห่งยนตรกรรม ซึ่งประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวต่างเก็บภาพความประทับใจ และถ่ายรูปคู่กับรถที่ตนเองชื่นชอบกันอย่างเพลิดพร้อมชมพระอาทิตย์ตกดินบรรยากาศสุดโรแมนติก ทั้งนี้ รถ Classic คือ รถที่มีอายุ 20 ปีขึ้นไป นับตั้งแต่วันที่วางจำหน่าย และต้องมีความสำคัญหรือคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าสนใจ เช่น รูปทรง ดีไซน์ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ เทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรมที่ทันสมัยในยุคนั้น ๆ หรือมีความหายาก มีจำนวนการผลิตที่จำกัด เป็นต้น
ถึงแม้ว่ารถรุ่นเก่าคลาสสิคในปัจจุบันจะมีราคาที่ค่อนข้างสูง แต่ก็เปรียบเสมือนงานศิลปะอีกประเภทหนึ่งที่เก็บความทรงจำอันล้ำค่าในอดีตเอาไว้ อีกทั้งยังมีเสน่ห์ด้านรูปลักษณ์ การออกแบบ รวมถึงระบบเครื่องยนต์และกลไกแบบดั้งเดิม ที่โดดเด่นและน่าจดจำเมื่อเทียบกับรถทั่วไปในปัจจุบัน
และในช่วงค่ำเวลา 19.00 น. จะมีบุฟเฟต์อาหารค่ำการกุศล ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมงานอาหารค่ำการกุศล จะได้เพลิดเพลิน กับเสียงดนตรี และรับชมการแสดงจากเด็กๆในการดูแลของมูลนิธิ HHN เพื่อเด็กไทย
เมื่อช่วงเวลา 10.00 น. วันที่ 9 ก.พ. 68 ที่ หน้าโรงแรมเอเชียพัทยา ได้มีพิธีเปิดงาน Classic Car Show Pattaya โดยมี ดร. พิทยา ภิรมย์อ้น ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการนายกเมืองพัทยา นายพิสูจน์ แซ่คู ผู้จัดการทั่วไปโรงแรมเอเชียพัทยานางรัชฏา ชมจินดา ผู้อำนวยการมูลนิธิ HHN เพื่อเด็กไทย นาย ศิโรเมศร์ อัครพงษ์พานิช รองผู้อำนวยการมูลนิธิ HHN เพื่อเด็กไทย Mr. Jo Klemm ประธานชมรม Classic Car Friends Pattaya ผู้สนับสนุนกิจกรรมและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องร่วมเปิดงานClassic Car Show Pattaya ปล่อยขบวนรถคลาสสิคแบรนด์ดังเกือบ 100 คันวิ่งรอบเมืองพัทยาสร้างความหลากหลายในการการท่องเที่ยวและรายได้เข้าเมืองพัทยา โดยขบวนรถ Classic Car วิ่งไปรอบเมืองพัทยาผ่านสถานที่สำคัญต่างๆ เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว รวมพลคนรักรถคลาสสิคจากหลายประเทศ นำขบวนคาราวานรถโบราณหายาก วิ่งผ่านสถานที่สำคัญต่างๆ ในเมืองพัทยา เริ่มด้วยออกจากโรงแรมเอเซียพัทยาซอย 4 วิ่งขึ้นถนนพระตำหนัก ต่อด้วย ถนนพัทยาสายสอง ผ่านโค้งวงเวียนปลาโลมา ลงถนนเส้นชายหาดพัทยา ผ่านหน้าทางเข้าวอร์คกิ้งสตรีทมาสี่แยกวัดชัยมงคล เลี้ยวขวาขึ้นถนนพระตำหนัก และเวลา 12.00 น. โดยประมาณจะมาจอดโชว์ที่บริเวณหน้าร้าน BARREL HOUSE PATTAYA ที่เป็นรถ Classic Car แบรนด์ดังหายากประเมินราคาไม่ได้ จำนวน 10 คัน และในส่วนที่เหลือก็จะจอดบริเวณตามซอยและที่จอดรถของทางร้าน คือบริเวณถนนพระตำหนักซอย 4 และซอย 5 ใช้เส้นทาง 1 ช่องจราจรโดยไม่มีการปิดถนน พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ สภ. เมืองพัทยา และเจ้าหน้าที่เทศกิจเมืองพัทยา ร่วมอำนวยความสะดวกตลอดเส้นทางขบวนคาราวาน
ทั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์รถโบราณ ยกระดับการท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา สร้างความหลากหลายทางด้านการท่องเที่ยว ให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยว ดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ อันจะเป็นการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจด้านการท่องเที่ยวให้กับเมืองพัทยาและประเทศไทยในภาพรวม อีกทั้งต้องการเป็นส่วนหนึ่ง ในการช่วยสังคม รายได้ทั้งหมดหลังหักค่าใช้จ่าย มอบให้แก่เด็กๆ ในการดูแลของมูลนิธิ HHN เพื่อเด็กไทย
