Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard Charity Christmas Party!
Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard (RCES) played host once again to the best Rotary Charity Party night in town!

On Saturday December 14th 2024 at the Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya, Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard Pattaya RCES – Thailand; President Rodney James Charman, Assistant District Governor Steve Rochester and Club Secretary Kim Waddoup together with RCES club members hosted the Annual Charity Christmas Party to raise funds for local charitable organizations.
There were members of Rotary District 3340, both Thai and International including other local Rotary clubs from the Pattaya area, as well as numerous other representatives of local groups and expat community, over 175 distinguished guests’ attendance the event.
The event began by the RCES Club President Rodney James Charman welcomed all, and and encouraged all to support the evenings Charity raffle that had amazing prizes kindly gifted by hotels and businesses of Pattaya and Bangkok.
Next up all joined a sing along of favorite Christmas songs performed by a wonderful children’s choir from ASEAN Education Centre (AEC) and Child Protection & Development Centre (CPDC) who all received gifts after singing from the RCES team. HHNFT’s director Radchada Chomjinda expressed extreme gratitude to all that had been done by way of support to the AEC over the years by RCES, as well as other Clubs and individuals. President Rodney presented a donation of 50,000 baht to Human Help Network with more promised to follow from the RCES event raffle.
The event featured a luxurious Christmas buffet prepared by the Executive Chef and team from Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya. The proceeds from this fundraising event this year will be donated by the Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard equally between three charities of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand, Good Shepherd Sisters Education Centre and the Anti Trafficking and Child Abuse Centre (ATCC).
The atmosphere at the event was lively as ever, with everyone engaging after dinner in a fun calorie-burning dance workout to Dhudz and friends band.
เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 14 ธันวาคม 2024 ณ สยามเบย์ชอร์ รีสอร์ท พัทยา สโมสรโรตารีอีสเทิร์นซีบอร์ด พัทยา RCES – ประเทศไทย ประธาน ร็อดนีย์ เจมส์ ชาร์แมน ผู้ช่วยผู้ว่าการเขต สตีฟ โรเชสเตอร์ และเลขานุการสโมสร คิม วาดดูป พร้อมด้วยสมาชิกสโมสร RCES เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานการกุศลคริสต์มาสประจำปีเพื่อระดมทุนสำหรับองค์กรการกุศลในท้องถิ่น
มีสมาชิกโรตารีเขต 3340 ทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ รวมถึงสโมสรโรตารีในพื้นที่พัทยา ตลอดจนตัวแทนจากกลุ่มท้องถิ่น และชุมชนชาวต่างชาติจำนวนมาก มีแขกผู้มีเกียรติเข้าร่วมงานกว่า 175 คน
งานเริ่มต้นด้วยประธานสโมสร RCES ร็อดนีย์ เจมส์ ชาร์แมน กล่าวต้อนรับทุกคน และเชิญชวนให้ทุกคนสนับสนุนการจับฉลากการกุศลในตอนเย็น ซึ่งมีรางวัลสุดวิเศษที่โรงแรมและธุรกิจต่างๆ ในพัทยาและกรุงเทพฯ มอบให้
จากนั้นทุกคนร่วมร้องเพลงคริสต์มาสสุดโปรดโดยคณะนักร้องประสานเสียงเด็กที่ยอดเยี่ยมจากศูนย์การศึกษาอาเซียน (AEC) และศูนย์คุ้มครองและพัฒนาเด็ก (CPDC) ซึ่งทุกคนได้รับของขวัญหลังจากร้องเพลงจากทีม RCES รัชฎา ชมจินดา ผู้อำนวยการมูลนิธิ HHNFT แสดงความขอบคุณอย่างสุดซึ้งต่อการสนับสนุน AEC ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมาโดย RCES รวมถึงชมรมและบุคคลอื่นๆ ประธานร็อดนีย์มอบเงินบริจาค 50,000 บาทให้กับ Human Help Network และสัญญาว่าจะบริจาคเงินเพิ่มเติมอีกจากการจับฉลากกิจกรรม RCES
ในงานมีบุฟเฟต์คริสต์มาสสุดหรูที่จัดเตรียมโดยเชฟผู้บริหารและทีมงานจาก Siam Bayshore Resort พัทยา รายได้จากงานระดมทุนในปีนี้จะบริจาคโดย Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard ให้กับองค์กรการกุศลสามแห่ง ได้แก่ Human Help Network Foundation Thailand, Good Shepherd Sisters Education Centre และ Anti Trafficking and Child Abuse Centre (ATCC)
บรรยากาศในงานคึกคักเช่นเคย โดยทุกคนร่วมกันเต้นรำเผาผลาญแคลอรี่อย่างสนุกสนานตามจังหวะเพลงของวง Dhudz and friends หลังอาหารเย็น
